Should I give up on having Sunset and Starlight as waifus?

I think that you may be obsessing a bit over this one thing, so I'm now curious if that's the dominant focus of your thoughts. If so it would be a good idea to maybe figure out how to step back for a little, yeah.

Just get Twilight already. Waifu having a husbando is not an impediment. A waifu is not a mere love interest; she is a weebly coat of arms. You worship your waifu, you share her with the world, you shitpost for her honor against other waifu owners. Some of us even have multiple waifus for various occasions.

Careful not to get dangerously obsessed with things like this, keep in mind they're fictional characters. However I'll add my two cents about introverts and extroverts. I don't have much actual experience with it because my boyfriend is somewhat of an introvert and I'm a real introvert, but I think introverts and extroverts work better together.

An introvert and an introvert will take a long time to get off the ground because both parties are shy and don't want to talk much, they wouldn't know much about each other or want to do stuff together. Two extroverts work well, due to their natures and an introvert and an extrovert can work very well thinking logically. The extrovert draws the introvert out of their shell, gives them confidence and the introvert shows the extrovert how to be calmer and relax in different ways.

One of my closest friends is an introvert and she and I get on very well because she's so good at conversation and fills in the gaps when I need to think of things to say. I'm not sure how accurate what I'm saying is as it's based off logic and only a little experience, it also seems a little like a perfect world scenario but maybe there's reason in there somewhere.

I agree with what both of them said. Best not to worry so much about something like this. Seems a little silly to me personally.:please:.

I'm not trying to be rude, though, so please don't take it the wrong way.:adorkable:

while smart they're not as deeply into science as I am?

If your looking for someone into science then you could always go for Sci Twi, if you wanted.

You don't have to have a character as a a waifu. Having one is a personal choice and really shouldn't be forced.

At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do.

Wait...what?  Rarity is my waifu and I would not have a chance with her if she were a real person.  Plus, the whole not being real thing is precisely why you can have whatever waifu you want.

Just wanted to acknowledge that that was a phenomenal insight on this element of relationships and personality, and I have to say I agree here. Especially with an introvert and extravert dating. I kinda liked it to two puzzle pieces fitting perfectly. They are different, but slot together nicely and form a more complete 'relationship picture'. It also helps personal growth as you said.

You don't need to be 100% identical to be compatible romantically.

90%+ of romantic fiction is extroverted males courting introverted females, so clearly extrovert/introvert pairings are not controvertial. And it can be good if you have different skills and interests - that way, as a couple you can have a wider range fo strengths than each of you alone.

The real question is if you can imagine spending long periods of time with that other person, just enjoying each other's company and, even if not always doing the same things together, supporting your partner and enjoying how happy THAT makes them.

That is as true for a real-world relationship as for a waifu.
