Is it "cheating" to see episodes aired in other countries first?

Is it cheating to watch episodes of an anime as they air in Japan as opposed to waiting for an English release? Or watching live footage from a concert on another continent? 

Think of the episodes airing sooner in other countries like you would a simulcast. We're all one fandom, so why should we let things like borders and time zones alter how we experience the same thing? Treat MLP episodes airing abroad as you would episodes of a foreign made show making air.

I like to watch episodes when they are suppose to be released, like a normal person. Plus I ride the season hype longer then other people.

If I were to see episodes aired ahead of time, I'll be sure to keep it to myself especially regarding spoilers. Otherwise, it's just baffling on so many early releases prior to the official releases instead of the usual Saturdays since Season 5, I think?

In all seriousness though, it's a mixed bag for me so I can't really say.
