The judging side of dash, rarity, and applejack could be why they butt heads...

I'm am INTP SO I have a special connection to twilight, we seem to think the same.

Please look into cognitive functions, the only one you got right was Rarity. Also all MBTI tests are trash (especially 16personalities)...just study the functions if you want a somewhat accurate guess at yours, someone else's or a fictional character's MBTI type.

Once again, type by the cognitive functions. Dichotomies-based MBTI (F = Feeling, S = Sensing, T = Thinking, etc) is extremely inaccurate. Thoughtcatalog is a good starting reference.

And while functions aren't usually separated, here you go to make it easier to understand.

Also, I'd place Spike as a ESFJ.

Pretty much agree with Zero. There's a misconception that J means judgmental. It has to do with which function you extravert. I agree RD is kind of a [bleep] but if you'll read up on cognitive functions, you'll realize she is a P through and through (extraverts Sensing).

Although I don't agree with all of the assessments (Luna is way off), it's still reasonably good. I've agonized over Fluttershy more than the others. One one hand, she has some of the external characteristics mentioned in Keirsey's ISFP description (kindness and love of animals). On the other hand, the overall personality doesn't really fit her. ISFP's are generally more laid-back and carefree. (DJ Pon-3 might be one, for example) I've pegged FS as an unusually kind, animal-loving ISFJ.

To me Twilight Sparkle seems more ISTJ in FIM, INTJ in EQG.

Oof. I'm afraid that's impossible. Those types have a depth of thought/mentality that RD simply does not have. Consider a couple of quotes...

From the INTP page: "The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence."
From the INFJ-A page: "Treat people as if they were what they ought to be and you help them to become what they are capable of being."

Rainbow Dash has never displayed anything even close to those motivations, except maybe in some tragically-minded webcomics or something similar. On the actual show, Dash's gift is staying fiercely "in the moment" rather than deep thinking. That's neither a good or bad thing - it's just different.
