So... Greece's neo-nazi party won an election

A girl from my business and I.T class asked me why they couldn't just print more money. I smiled and walked away.

She's in a business class and doesn't know the consequences of "printing" more money? Very odd

We HAVE to take business class, doesn't mean people are good at it, I suck at the I.T part, it's a business and enterprise college. I wouldn't make stuff up like that, I am not a dick :). Edited by Chill Mists (Chilly)

I'm not saying you were, I was just saying, I thought that was common knowledge as to why the government cannot just make more money out of nothing

And if you'll kindly look at Exhibit A, you will clearly see how many fucks I give.

No, buy seriously I'm not even worried and you shouldn't be unless you live in Greece or in the countries neighbor to them.

That's what they said about Hitler and Germany. Seriously though if this escalates into something humanity deserves the biggest facepalm even Picard could not muster up.

It's not unlikely that Greece will be kicked out of the Eurozone. And by extension, if it keeps going downhill politically and socially, out of the EU altogether. This whole situation will set a new precedent for Europe.

The country is pretty much bankrupt, it can become threatening to the it's residents, but it will take some times before it becomes threatening to it's neighbours.

Some people are saying that the golden dawn is already losing it's popularity, so this neo nazism thing in greece probably won't last long

Although the economic problems will still make sure it gets kicked out of the eurozone.

Right except we already experienced Hitler. If Greece starts acting aggressive we would squash it in an instant. You posts are so funny to read, it's almost like you don't think about it.

Same about your post. If you read my post you would see that this escalating would be highly unlikely, but at the same time you should be prudent.

Golden Dawn did not "win" the election. None of the parties won a majority, a government did not form, and new elections are on June 17, 2012. Also according to popular vote, New Democracy (conservatives) won with an amazing 19% of the popular vote! SYRIZA (the best party in the mix imo) came in second with 17%, and the "socialists" got destroyed dropping from 44% to 13% between this election and the one in 09'. Golden Dawn did score 21 seats and 7% of the vote though, so definitely they are becoming more prevalent.

Also no chance Greece is staying in the Eurozone.

I'm confused.

Nazism, for understandable reasons, is heavily associated with racism towards dark-skinned people, though hating dark-skinned is not universal among neo-Nazi movements...at least the ones that are dark-skinned themselves. :P

Thats what we said about germany. My solution to the problems in todays world: send all nazi's, neo nazi's, murderers, and child abusers into space. Without any suits

>inb4 nazi hipster joke

I live halfway across the world, and yet I still give about 0.3 fucks about this 'Golden Dawn'. What I'm more concerned about is the eurozone breaking up, as Germany will be hit hard as their economy is actually doing well unlike some others. If the eurozonr collapses, which it probably will, Germany's exports suddenly become really expensive and so nobody will prefer buying them over alternatives. That's a very large drop in a countries income.

So hypothetically if Greece does turn into the next Germany/Nazi thing with the whole war and such America prob's won't give two fucks. America only joined WW2 because Japan made them angry and it was more the Russians that actually beat the Germans.

Also there isn't much oil in Greece.

Plus Greece's economy is in no state to start wars. The only reason Hitler was successful was because every country was reeling from WW1 and were to busy about one guy taking Poland over. Now days every man and his dog would see Greece taking over any country and get all up in arms about it and Briton/Germany/France would send some friendly FUCK YOU missiles their way.

Also i give Greece a year before the're out of the Euro-zone.

Yeah, like these guys. But you really gotta know that a Nazi and a neo-Nazi are a whole different type of person. Plus there are groups like those Mongolian neo-Nazis, and those Slavic neo-Nazis. So it's kind of a weird subject you know? Anyway, on the subject, this whole Greece thing is interesting, but not any more worrysome to us than the terrorists in the Arabic countries or the crazies in North Korea. Or at least I would hope not...
