It would seem that in most cases an individual is first attracted to the personality of the pony which would then turn into a physical attraction in order to acquire the pony as a companion. If one wasn't able to engage in "physical" activities with said pony then they would settle with a purely platonic relationship with the pony that has their desired personality traits.

okay, ill try to say it nicely, the answer is not, why? well, if we try to think about clearly, the anatomy of a pony awakes certain patterns that awakes that part of the brain that make us see something sexy, i admit that a picture of Fluttershy or Dashi, or Rarity can be sexy if they have a girls body, you know, with breasts, curves, a nice figure... HOW THE FUCK YOU ARE GONNA FIND SEXY AN ANIMAL!?!?!? i imagine a person that say that Twilight is sexy and dont even pay attention to the show for looking her flanks, i imagine, if a brony find ponies sexy, that means that a horse must me a living goddess to that person, this are my little pony, my LITTLE pony, we are talking about small horses, can you realize a guy with a small pink mare? think about it, there are bronies that draw the characters showing their intimate parts, Congratulations! you just found that the ponies are in fact mares! now what? are you gonna stand watching a horse's intimate part? i would say that better look on one real, am sure they are not as hot as you think, but i dunno, they may find it sexy as well

if you pay attention to the anatomy of a pony the figure is really simple, and i dont believe the persons that find them sexy.

Explanation:

 

I am not attracted to them sexually because of their appearance, I am attracted to them sexually because of their personalities.

 

Simply put: If it can talk like me, think like me, have the same interests as me, then there is no reason why you can't be in a relationship with it.

 

Saying you can't be attracted to it or be with it just because it's a kind of horse is basically racism to me. Now, if it was just like the horses that we have in our world today, then no, because it is considered beastiality. An animal has a lower IQ than we do, it does not have the intelligence to bond with us on that kind of level. You could say "well a pony is a type of animal", to some degree yes, but so are humans. But the title of an animal and IQ levels are what differentiates us all on this topic.

 

However, because it is a kind of horse, and it has similar aspects to that of a human female, is just icing on the cake. Does this help with being more attracted to it? Absolutely. But it isn't the main reason why I would be as stated above.

 

Let's use Twilight Sparkle as an example. She is very intelligent, she has a kind personality, she loves to learn and explore new things, and she strives to help someone in need however she can. If you're a person that likes these traits in a woman, how can you not be attracted to her? Is it because she is a kind of horse and not a human? If that's the only barrier between you and her when the feelings of each other are mutual, then that is a lame reason. Is it because you fear that your human society will think lowly of you for being with a horse and not another human with the same traits? Well, you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. If it makes you happy to be with her, then do whatever it takes to make yourself happy.

I find that they are pretty sexy, mostly from their personalities though. Their eyes, mouth, and mane are pretty sexy as well depending on what a person finds attractive. I personally find Luna to be the sexiest (go figure right?), it's her personality and dark blue color makes me just want to run up and snuggle her to death (and be sent to the dungeon of course).

Welllllllllllllllll this one is a biiiiiiiiiiiiit tricky but... Oh why not, I'll add my two cents;

 

Let's cut to the chase, yes, yes they are. But they can be for a multitude of reasons and don't have to be restricted to just physical or show limitations. For example, while I personally don't get... "Excited" by seeing the scenes where pony butt is shown without much question, because it just doesn't do anything for me. It just seems like natural movement that would happen just from being an equine and it doesn't really make me feel or think much (though of course it is impossible to look at that and not make at least one inappropriate joke or thought cross your mind, least for me it is).

 

Now, are the things people have CREATED... That's a whole nother beast. I am going to separate this into 2 sections, one dedicated to the pony pony versions, and one to the more humanoid/human sections:

 

Regular Pony Style: This is the one that seems pretty cut and dry. It's a horse, y u want it's ass plot? Well, hormones don't really care what species you are or what species your counterpart is, so long as it thinks you can mate with it, your body will try to order you to do so. Now of course, that's the problem (or, for their sake, lucky break) with TV characters; You can't exactly... Get with them. So what have we done? Put genitalia on them. Made art. Put them with stallions (and I don't mean just friendshipping). Tons of things to sexualize them further. Why? Because our brain wants them, but can't have them, so it fantasizes. Fantasies become ideas, ideas become possibilities, and possibilities become... Well... Porn. I mean, it is called Rule 34 for a reason. I could go into detail about exactly why our brains go "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaant... *Drool*" upon seeing a plot bouncing around, but many others before me have posted videos and research dedicated to that explanation.

 

Anthropomorphic and Humanized: This is where things become less black and white and more technicolor... Or at least more than before. What really kicks in my mind when I see certain Anthropomorphic (and, of course, Humanized is kinda obvious for this one) is how... Normal they look. Now hold on, before you start yelling at me about fur and ears and what-not, just stop and keep reading. Ok? Good. Anyways, when I mean "normal" I mean in the sexualized parts. "But what about oversized chests and butts?" What did I say about keep reading...? Anyways... Normal in terms of I have seen this before. I have seen more tame versions in real life, but the idea of super-sized knockers dates waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay before MLP. Once you get past the exaggerations, the sexualized parts of their bodies are accurate, or at least enough to get the hormones flowing. And honestly, if you just focus in on those bits, as most guys do, it is hard to argue AGAINST them being sexy. I mean, at that point you are saying you don't find regular human bodies all that sexy. The only real difference (and sometimes this isn't even that noticeable) is they might be a bit fuzzy. And stop and ask yourself for a second, wouldn't YOU want to have some after-love-making snuggles with something warm and soft? Because I'm hard-pressed to say I wouldn't find it enjoyable.

 

One more thing: I have noticed a LOT of people have been saying "They aren't sexy, but they are super cute!" or "It's their personalities." These can both be true, and I do personally LOVE the personalities of the characters in this show. There is a reason I stick around to watch it, and it is most certainly the colorful (no pun intended) characters. Now, about the cute thing... I don't know about everyone else, but I tend to find cute things considerably sexy. Don't ask me why, I just do. I just find simple little cute things to pack quite the hormonal punch. There is a possibility many others have thought this way before, and proceeded to create things like this BECAUSE they found them cute to begin with. Just a theory, a game pony theory.

 

Now I am not a part of this, least not right now, but the more I find of this stuff and the more I think about it, the more... Understanding I have become. I once thought that anyone who found a pony sexy was a creepy dude who lived in his mom's basement and did nothing for society. I was right... For one or two of them. For the rest, well, you wouldn't even know the difference between them and most of the general populace. So long as they keep their fantasies in their heads and not in public, anyways, I don't see much of an issue. Everyone's got their weird sides, and every fandom has pornographic imagery: Why should I shun these people for their's?
