Well... kind of. As presented in the show, ponies are not sexy, but it's not unusual to be attracted to cartoon characters, even those of different species. Spike has a crush on Rarity, and that's not made out as odd in the show.

Because the ponies have well-developed personalities and are emotionally as mature as humans, it is natural that people are emotionally attracted to them--and emotional attractions frequently overlap into ones of a more sexual nature.

Besides, people are not attracted to ponies themselves. I have never seen clop adorned with horse genetalia. People find the personalities of ponies attractive, and find it difficult to picture those same personalities in a body other than one with which we are presented. The act of intercourse itself in pornographic pony material is always based upon human sex organs. Occasionally art or writing features teats instead of human breasts, but they serve the same function.

 

tl;dr: First, that was a short post. Shame on you. Second: I don't think people are sexually attracted to the bodies of ponies. I think they are attracted to the pony personalities, and merely associate the body of a pony with this persona.

MLP's ponies are quite beautiful indeed, under some occasions I found them quite sexy. Some time ago, I would have judged other people for liking ponies in this way, even judge myself under false pretexts of social righteousness, trying to somehow achieve "purity" I've been wrong this whole time.

I judged people because I was afraid of something I wasn't able to fully understand. I've restrained myself from the experience of clopping, fooled by the need of social acceptance, a "society" full of fear and ignorance. I've been fighting against myself. Such a naive "human being" I've been this whole time. Denying the need, made the whole situation a lot worse, enhancing the "perversion" Funny word, don't you think?

Now that I understand the way the experience of life works, I find it hard to judge people again. I started understand, and thus, allowing myself to fulfil my needs, I've become way more healthier than just fighting back in the blindness of ignorance, which is the source of many of the stuff that some close-minded people would probably find "nasty"

At this point, there's not prejudice towards other people, no matter their nature. Because I've learned to accept myself, and thus I can accept others.

Well, I can't say that I personally find ponies "sexually arousing," however I wouldn't mind finding someone in real life, who shared the exact same personality, and acted in a very similar manner to Rainbow Dash, to spend the rest of my life with.

This is a really good topic to talk about. I feel like sometimes people find something they really like and they get completely wrapped up in it. It's TOTALLY okay to like ponies, enjoy the show, and to be happy when watching the show or to be involved in a forum like this. But I never understood why some people end up becoming "sexually attracted" to them. Of course, I'm not talking down to anyone on this site that might become sexually aroused by them. Just not my idea of something that is good. I think it's completely fine to categorize ponies as: cute, fabulous, and pretty. Other than that, there are a lot of ways to categorize them and make it seem as if you are truly attracted to them. To each their own, I suppose. I just don't enjoy the fact that some people feel it necessary to advertise those types of feelings. 

 

I hope this didn't come across as rude towards anyone. I'm definitely not against anyone.
