Myself and mother nature have an understanding when it comes to bugs and insects. They can sit on me in peace just as long as they don't bite. The only thing that's really bitten me are meadow fleas. Everything else seems to leave me alone, including things like wasps.

The mosquitoes are really bad in the deep south. I don't get bitten often tho. When I'm outside with a telescope, I usually have a powerful fan blowing on me.

The mosquitoes stick around but can't seem to land on me. :)

That is a good advice!

I try to not get bitten, by running as fast as I can, but eventually they will win, and then get get bitten. The worst if the "ankle biters", makes such a huge bump of itchiness! Gaa!! :BornAgainBrony:

Mosquitos are my personal animal enemies. Everytime in summer, they bite me. I hate it when I lie in my bad or sit on a chair in the garden on a warm sumemr evening and hear that icky noise. And since the winters become warmer and warmer in germany, I even have mosquito bites in winter. Luckily that dangerous mosquitos are rare in germany, but the number of them is growing.

we dont have misquitos, we have midges who appear in the autumn

What are those? Are they annoying (they sound annoying)?

I would say "lucky you", but they do sound very annoying, just like mosquitoes!

They're like little flies that bite you and you get very itchy,

no warning because they make no sound,

they hang around argyle most of the time, and come down to my city for a while round the end of summer, start of autumn,

I've never been biten by a mosquito (only been in Scotland (well no shit sherlock), England, and Spain however)
