Season 8's really weird for me, despite having one of the best string of episodes in the show(On the Road To Friendship, The Washouts, A Rockhoof and a Hard Place, What lies Beneath, Song of Silence) it doesn't do that much. Non-Compete Clause and A Matter of Principals are really big lows for me, but definitely not enough to sour the season for me. But the rest of the season just feels mediocre and forgettable for me, despite having a couple of gems sprinkled here and there like Grannies Gone Wild, Horse Play, and Hearth's Warming Club(and despite me not thinking certain episodes are as bad as people make them out to be like The End In Friend and Fake It Till You Make it)

Tbh S8 has been kinda disappointing...I mean, I absolutely loved Cozy Glow and the finale, but the whole school setup hasn’t won me over yet. I do like the Young 6 quite a bit, but I think that their introduction to the show was too into the series’ ending and they may take away some time that could be invested on pre established characters now that S9 is the last season.. Now we’ve got an even bigger roster of characters and we need to flesh them all out... I just hope we can get a nice resolution to the series and have most questions answered.

That said, I loved Ocellus, Smolder and YONA. Best Yak.

School Raze, Matter of Principals, Non Compete Clause, Yakkity Sax and Father know Beast were the WORST ABOMINATIONS of entire series and not just this season

Season 8 is the weakest one for me, but it has some good episode and also some really bad ones:

Best episodes: The Washouts, Sounds of Silence, What Lies Beneath

Worst episodes: Non-Compete Clause, The End In Friend

I'm not happy with this season, but I don't hate it. Most of the problems I have with it originates wit this School of Friendship.

Season 8 is definitely the worst season in the series for me. This season has a ton of bad episodes with only a few decent ones here and there. It also didn't help that this season introduced lots of bad concepts from the awful School of Friendship to the bland Student Six. Here are the five best and the ten worst in my opinion:

Best: The Break Up Break Down, Sounds of Silence, Road to Friendship, The Mean Six, Grannies Gone Wild

Worst: School Daze, Non-Compete Clause, Father Knows Beast, Yakity-Sax, The End In Friend, School Raze, Fake It 'Till You Make It, A Matter of Principals, The Hearths Warming Club, Friendship University

I'd say that there are more bad episodes in this season than decent, or even average episodes. For me there are about 5 decent episodes, 6 average ones, and 15 under average to bad episodes; definitely not a good lineup.

Definitely seasons 1-3 were the worst to me. Just pretty boring to me. 4-7 were good, but I'm going with my favorite season, 8. (I'm the only one here who really likes it but who cares)

 

Best: School Days, The Sounds of Silence, Non-Compete Clause, Sweet and Smokey, The Hearth's Warming Club, School Raze, Surf and/or Turf, What Lies Beneath, Horse Play

Worst: Father Knows Beast, Yakity-Sax, The End in Friend, Friendship University(It was alright tho),

Worst: Matter of Principals. Embodies everything wrong with Discord, not just the character himself but the direction with him, from this point of the show
