CastletonSnob 3,074 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 Do you think someone will die in the series finale? And if so, who?
SkyPie 261 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 Highly doubt MLP will go that far. If it does happen, I would be beyond shocked. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SGqB-NX9rzU
Megas 27,580 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 If they want to ruin the finale, sure. Otherwise, I'm not expecting anyone to die other than maybe the villains
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,370 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 This would be an incredibly stupid idea. The advertising for this season has already been depressing enough and doing this would have the show end on a rather bleak note. Not that it matters much to me anymore, but the least they can do is make for a good ending, hopefully.
Sparklefan1234 169,991 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 (edited) This show barely acknowledged Tank, Pear Butter and Bright Mac's "deaths" so, no, I don't think anypony will die in the series finale. Plus, I agree with @Kyoshi that it would be a really depressing thing to end on considering this show is about colorful talking ponies. Misty Shadow 7,848 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 I don't even believe that King Sombra is dead, so no, I don't think so. If someone had to die in the finale, Grogar's the only candidate I'd put money on, but I feel implications of characters being alive prior to the events of the show now being dead is the farthest we're going to get.

Justin_Case001 4,882 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 HA HA! That'd be nice. But no. (I don't mean a protagonist, but, y'know, a villain actually dying would be cool.) 6 hours ago, twilightsparkle3562 said: Death is NOT an answer in MLP. It's a kids show! Yeah. You're right. They could never kill any character in something made for kids. That never works. Spoiler
Flash-Magnus 16 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 Just like Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame some characters die in both movie. Maybe MLP's characters/villains will die is Grogar,Twilight,Celestia and Chrysalis.
Celaeno 3 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 The only person I thought died was Storm King...no I don't think someone will die. Remember MLP is family friendly, although there are some dark moments.

Cash In 22,236 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 Aside from the villains - which would probably be unlikely as it is, I don't really see it happening, as it would cause a massive rift in tone as well as within the fandom. That wouldn't exactly be ideal, especially in the final episodes. 1 At first I rejected the zero, but that was because I simply didn't understand it. Now I do. cmarston1 5,959 August 3, 2019 Share August 3, 2019 Outside of maybe a villain or two, I really can't see any character dying in the series finale. It just really wouldn't fit with the type of show MLP FiM is to do that.

It’s a completely different show about world about people who control the elements at war with the Fire Nation. Steve Piranha 29,419 August 4, 2019 Share August 4, 2019 If the finale will be like I think will be, then all the Mane 6 except Twi, as I think the finale will take place decades at least after her coronation Sig by Discords
Kadeda 178 August 5, 2019 Share August 5, 2019 They might kill Grogar, I don't know about the other three. Good guy character wise... I could see them symbolizing that Celestia and Luna might have to "leave" in a way that symbolizes death. Other than that... no way.

I doubt they would kill even Grogar - they managed to "unkill" Sombra after all, so presumably Grogar will just be banished back to wherever he has been since he lost his bell... ᚾᛖᚹ ᛚᚢᚾᚨ ᚱᛖᛈᚢᛒᛚᛁᚴ - ᚦᛖ ᚠᚢᚾ ᚺᚨᚦ ᛒᛖᛖᚾ ᛞᛟᚢᛒᛚᛖᛞ
