I'm frustrated to hell. As I've stated before, I'm an actor, and currently repped for voiceovers. I'm frustrated because, my voice and skills are in the animation and video game market...but almost every audition is for commercials. Which I suck at. I try to improve, but my voice just isn't...right. I try to manipulate it - I can do all kinds of characters but "normal sounding guy" is hard for me to do. But there's so many and just...so much money out there for them. So I spend a lot of time auditioning for commercials when they come in, because hey "say this sentence. Make 5 grand" is hard to pass up...but I haven't booked a thing since signing with my agent, and I'm worried I'm going to get dumped if I don't book something soon. I had a great audition earlier for a new animated series on a major cable channel, but...it's big leagues, and I can't even get small market commercials.

Kind of annoyed by how stupid and ridiculous people are. So backwards in this day and age, still, and then so many who want to take things too far the other way. I just wish everyone had common sense and would just stop caring about what someone else is doing that is none of their business and hurts no one.

I'm not sure how I feel, I mean, I am angry at life, but why be mad at something that is out of your own control?

 

I'm also confused, I'm trying to make my OC work, but no matter how hard I try, it will always be a spitting image of myself ... Colour scheme wise I mean ...

 

And I'm also tired, tired of fighting the lost cause that is depression ... Many people say many things about depression that may tell you how nasty it really is ... But my favourite one for me is "But what point is there in pushing on, if all you push against is a brick wall?" ...

I suppose this is a day summary;

 

Most of today has been good, but I got emotionally knocked down today and the reasons where petty and vain my friends reading this may of seen my status I thank you all those who shared a kind word.

 

With some help from of my new friends and an older one too helped me through my tale of self indulged negative emotions I am back to my normal self.

 

So overall today has been a learning experience and may I improve from it.
