The bad news I'm getting my wisdom tooth extracted in a few days, and I'm a little scared. Not of the doctor, but the procedure. I hope my sister is right about it not being too bad. 

But the good news is that in about 2 weeks after that, I'm flying to the other side of the country to visit Walt Disney World for the first time in over 12 years!

More cheerful than I have been lately. Weather seems milder, might be something to do with it. I normally hate winter it's so cold & gloomy & depressing, often gets me down. Roll on spring!

Congrats on going to Disney world!!  

For my wisdom tooth extraction, they numbed the entire lower half of my face and some of my chest.  They didn't inject anything, they put this breathing mask thing on me that went over my nose.  I didn't even notice them and then suddenly they were done.  It was pretty easy to follow the instructions they gave me for after-care.  I had all four taken out at once, just baby yourself for a bit after the surgery, stick to foods you don't need to chew too much(like liquids) and you'll be fine!!

I had one of my wisdom teeth out almost a year ago... and while the procedure is a bit daunting, it's not too bad once it gets going. It's over quite quickly but the after effects are quite challenging to get used to, especially on dietary things as you'll be eating soft and liquid foods for a few weeks.

On my side of things, I'm feeling quite worried and scared. I found out earlier today that my Dad has been diagnosed with prostate cancer...

Sometimes life throws you curveballs you don't expect, and boy this is one of them.

That attitude will take you very far in life. 

As for myself, I’m just relaxing taking a break from my kids, ages 6 and 2. I’m off work for the next two weeks enjoying my vacation time. Surprising wife and kids with Disneyland trip the upcoming week. It’s rare to have time like this to browse forums and catch up on all my favorites movies and TV so I’m really enjoying it.

I’m incredibly sorry about the bad news, but prostate cancer is incredibly operable and one of the most mild forms of cancer, I know it’s scary and daunting — but it might help to find strength in yourself and inspire confidence in your father. You guys will beat it together. Good luck and god bless.

I'm feeling kinda tired. I didn't get very much sleep last night, I was feeling kinda restless and wide awake all night.  Whenever I did sleep, it was more like I was lightly dozing and I kept having really disturbing dreams.

Kinda empty. Just watching life pass by as nothing changes, not gaining anything worth while nor resolving any unchangeable problems. Also disorientated working earlys then lates followed by an early, having less then 4 hours sleep every night untill my days off when I have over 9 hours sleep just to wake up and having to be back in work again. It's doing no favours to my health.

Rather helpless. It really sucks being screwed over for life because of my dad's poor financial decisions.  Can't do anything with my life because I don't have money, and that's the reason I need to do something. Can't really look for a job either because soon enough I would have no way of getting there...
