but i got it when i joined the Cybertronian Warriors Clan for Quake (Hence "CW") and took the name Grimlock.

obviously getting shorted to Grim most of the time sooooo.

It my OC's name, and my email address, and my gamertag, basically my everything-pony-related-online-handle. I think I go it from one of the pony name generators when I put my full name in, I liked what I got and it stuck.

A little while back, I found that this name was commonly available on websites and not somehow taken up, so I use it a lot. If it is taken already, I call myself "SneakyFraise". Fraise is French for strawberry, and if you want to know, Sneaky Strawberry is just that much more preferable to Sneaky1.

Nearly a decade ago, I was a member of a booming competitive Halo PC scene. During that time, I went by the name Oni-Ryu. Typical weeabo name that a teenager would have thought up.

 

After getting sick of it, I decided to change it to something a bit more related to my gaming habits. At the time, I was working a closing shift at a local McDonald's, and I'd always come home and game (usually Halo PC) until about 4 AM. So I chose ItStartsAtDusK, or DusK for short, because I only gamed at night.

 

The name stuck pretty well. It stuck when I moved to other games, joined other clans and communities, and it stuck when I started making VGM remixes and joined the OC ReMix community.

It'll probably never change now. It's got too much history, and now, it's a recognized name by over half a thousand people. I'm kinda stuck with it.

When I first joined, I had the username SolarPony. I usually use the online name SolarFox when I can, but since this was a pony forum, that's what I went with.

 

When I was watching "Hearth's Warming Eve" for the first time, I picked up on this pegasus stallion reduced to eating the decorations on his helmet.

 

 

This particular scene made me laugh a bit, so I remembered him, and started seeing him in other episodes too, usually doing something funny in the background. A male version of Derpy, if you will, but not as prominent in the fandom consciousness.

 

Based on his rainbow cutie mark, I thought that Full Spectrum would be a good name for him. When I checked around, I saw that he had already been dubbed just Spectrum. But why settle for one name when you can have two? So I took the name Full Spectrum in his honor, and thus I have been ever since.

Shadowlux100, here's how I came up with it. Since my top three favorite cartoon characters of all time were Luxray from Pokemom, Princess Luna, and Shadow the Hedgehog, I just put two and two and two together. My favorite, Shadow, was/is the first part and I just put lux instead of Luxray...100 because my Luxray is at level 100 in my Pokemon Platinum game. As for Luna, she's a pony, so my profile is Shadowlux the pegasus.

My username evolved multiple times. I started playing Runescape back in 2006-7 where I called myself "Bobmakerel" that stayed as my email/username for a while until I developed an alt account called "Adamfish6". This was used for a while until I came up with MintCheese and MinteeeAdam. They were only kept for a short period until I came across ThouShallType. I came up with ThouShallType by having a conversation about the Ten commandments. I used the internet a lot so I wanted a cool email account. ThouShallType was born. The variation ThouShallPlay is normally my gaming name. ThouLovesRainbowDash came from anyone I normally met called me "Thou". I love rainbow dash what else can I say?
