I think the most overrated movie of all time is 2001 A Space Odyssey.

It is so freaking boring and nonsensical. The computer is the only real character and he just goes crazy for no reason. People think just because it's overly artsy it's deep. :crackle:

The Fall by Tarsem Singh was a great movie, a bit arsty but damn the presentation is great.  The visuals are amazing and Lee Pace is gorgeous in this movie.  Even though how Tarsem treated the child actor to get her to legit cry for scenes was garbage the other elements of this movie are beautiful.

This thread is for underrated/overlooked films not overrated films.

I just have to make a special post about this one even though I already mentioned it. Antiviral. I don't know why it has such middling reviews. This film is honestly genius and people don't see it yet and instead just get offended by the exact thing that makes it so genius in the first place. This film hopefully should get the recognition it deserves in a few years. It's honestly a masterpiece of a body horror film that makes extremely apt analogies about current celebrity culture.

Far And Away (1992). One of my all-time favorite movies and Tom Cruise's best. Sometimes I think I'm the only person who's ever seen this masterpiece.

The Phantom (1996). And absolutely delightful super hero movie. Cheesy, definitely! But so much fun!

The Rocketeer (1991). Another mini masterpiece that is vastly underrated.

Xanadu (1980). Yeah, I admit this is not a brilliant movie, and defines the term 'camp', but I love this mess anyway.

Condorman (1981). Glorious Disney super hero movie with Michael Crawford (yeah, the Phantom of the Opera guy). A very nicely put together gem.

I don't know if it is, but I do believe that The Amazing Spiderman 2 did pretty badly (which is why a third movie never exist). But I feel like it was areally good movie. I loved it to bits and pieces and it is one of my favourite movies ever and it made me love Spiderman (even if I never read the comics but I like the idea of him). Though admittedly, I haven't watched that movie in a while my opinion might differ slightly if I watch it again but I am rather sure it is good enough to at least get a sequel.

My brother would agree with you. I still like and respect it, but it's not my favorite Kubrick film (That would be The Shining).

I recently watched Olympus Has Fallen and despite CGI sequences looking like ass(especially for a 2013 movie) and despite some bullshit scenes it's a pretty damn and genuinely fun, exciting action movie. I remember some people calling it Die Hard in the White House....and it helps that the actual Die Hard movie that came out that year was kinda terrible :p

The transformers movies get more hate than they deserve. People compain so much yet they still paid for tickets to watch the films, as seen by the series grossing 5 billion dollars worldwide. Very few series have done that

I’ve got one.

So this was one of my favorite Disney Channel movies as a kid

Pixel Perfect

I absolutely loved the music in it

I’m aware the video itself looks a bit cheesy since it’s older(I mean no microphone, girl) but the song still rocks

So relatable. Storyline is sad too.
