Twilight Sparkle or Rainbow Dash?

One year ago I would have said Rainbow Dash, now my favourite is Twilight.

 

Rainbow Dash is visually appealing, but Twilight has her stuff down. She is quite wise and seems to know best of the 6, but at the same time isn't perfect.

Twilight is lovely and awesome and brilliant and magically talented and a delightful main character. I identify with her personality and her mane is cool. There's only one thing missing...

 

She's not Rainbow Dash.

Contrary to my avatar, Dashie is the better of the two still, for me. Twilight has shifted from third to second place a couple times with Applejack, but she's once again reclaimed second place. Looking bad-ass when using dark magic had nothing to do with it.

 

Dashie has a personality combination and design that the other ponies simply do not have, including Twilight. Dashie will always remain best pone, even though Twi may shift now and then in my favorites.

Rainbow Dash for sure. SHE IS 20% COOLER THAN THE OTHER PONIES. Also, she's awesome and I love her rainbow mane and personality.

Twilight for sure. She isn't best pony (in my opinion) but she's more interesting then Rainbow. Rainbow is generally just a jerk - especially to Fluttershy - and bothers me a lot. Where as Twi is... herself. Which is pretty awesome.

For them being my favourite two ponies in the mane 6, I couldn't possibly make that decision. so..

Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash are the best ponies.

Twilight for some reason she just appeals to me more though at first I disliked her for her snobbish behaviors in the very first episode. http://mlpforums.com/public/style_emoticons/default/dry.png She's one of my favorite now, I like RD too but she's not my favorite.
