 The game is in early stage of development and everything seen there is not indicative of the final product.

 

A pony metroidvania

 

❤ SETTING ❤

One night, when everypony were asleep, a strange event occured, disrupting the harmony in Equestria...

The next day, Twilight Sparkle receives a letter from Princess Celestia regarding an urgent matter, asking her to come to Canterlot as soon as possible. Twilight soon discovers, that her friends went missing and suspects, that it may be related to the letter she has received. Without wasting time, she appears in Canterlot to speak with Celestia. The Princess explains, that somehow the Elements of Harmony were scattered all over Equestria, causing strange things to happen in places they landed in. She mentions, that Princess Luna disappeared too, and that one of the Elements has landed in the Castle of the Two Sisters located in the Everfree Forest, thinking it may have something to do with Luna's disappearance. Celestia asks Twilight to head there and investigate, believing they'll find the first clues to what is happening...

Twilight sets on a journey to find missing ponies and restore Harmony in Equestria...

The game takes place in season 4, telling its story from the show in a somewhat different way.

As far as programming goes, I think I'll be fine. That's what I enjoy after all.

Now this is something I'm wondering on, I mean help with resources in general. Some ponies did offer help with art, some offered their music talents, but I really can't decide. From one point of view there's tons and tons of resources to make, but on the other hand, it's a great practice for me to tackle it myself, as I'd love to get better at art and music composing.

To be honest, the only thing I truly lack is the free time (and sometimes motivation ). I fear, that if I did have a team, I'd be the one slowing everything down, so maybe it's better if I'm alone. It's less stressful that way.

Perhaps I could port the game to mobile, but for starters, I don't own the required licence. RIP

It's all about money 

Although I'm not sure if it would be convenient to play on mobile, unless one would have a controller hooked there.

I'm not sure if I'm ready for teaming up, not with my activity, heh.  Thanks though, I'll keep that in mind.

Another engine means having to create the game basically from scratch due to different language (if it even allows scripting) and data/object management. Plus, making a game on phone simply cannot mean anything good. I suspect it's very limited. At this point I'd prefer to just purchase the licence and let the engine compile the game for mobile.

Welp, it's way too early to think about this, we'll see how things will go in the future.

the teaming up bit.... I just wanted to help a bit cuz my schedule too is wack... so I'm not at a point that me helping is considered much as a proper "team up." ....plus I'm very bad at responsibilities... only reason I wanna help you specific is you like taking your time on things. 

I was thinking maybe I can promote your game in some way...but seeing that you like taking your time.... this might not be the right way of helping

Well it's just that I also have other things to do, there's just not enough time for everything. Lately my brother kept me busy, because we were playing games online. If not that, there are fellow devs from another community who very often poke me for help with coding. Through all these years, I literally worked more on others' games, than my own. Heh, usually people who release all these games aren't really active on social media and maybe that's the key. I do get distracted a lot after all.  Actually no joke, once due to technical difficulties I didn't have internet connection for like a week and I actually made a lot of progress during that period. 

Oh boy, everything was easier when I was jobless. 

Sometimes I just don't know what to do... Guess I have to try to work on these projects more consistently...
