Have you ever created your own 'country'?

Instead of changing nationality, some people create their own small 'country', and that is called a 'micronation'.

Sometimes I didn't like the country I live in, so I thought about emigrating. But I'm young and not that rich, so I thought it would be difficult to emigrate. So one day I declared my home as the 'Principality of Freeland'. Hehe...

Have you ever tried creating your own little 'country' and gathering its inhabitants?

Never thought of that specifically as it just isn't practical. But I do like to dream of a country that consists of New England states. I'm far from the first person to ever think of it, though.

Either way I consider myself a member of my region and state before I do the country.  I have very little pride or faith left in my depraved, stupid country.

I haven't. But being a kid I had thought about creating a clan like in medieval Japan or noble house like in medieval Europe or certain fantasy books =] For people united by caring about each other and reaching common goals to prosper. With heraldic symbols and aristocratic inner traditions.

I kinda did but purely for pony and Furry RP. Maybe i should or pay someone to make a physical copies of my flag. Put it on my house and declare it a province of Anocratic empire.

When I was a child, I came up with not only my own country, but also an imaginary world. This world is called the "Universe of Worlds" where all the worlds are. I then became the ruler of a country called Garry's Mod, I even made a flag.

I also came up with the idea that the world we are in now is a matrix created on a computer, and I accidentally got here, and when the body in the matrix dies, I will return to the Universe of Worlds again. In the Universe of Worlds, I was a Superbeing of the God class. I am still the ruler of my country, by the way, Garry's Mod includes Equestria and all the other countries in MLP. I would like my fictional world to exist and everything I came up with to be real. Or maybe my fictional world exists? The creator of the Matrix lives in my country and we are best friends with him.
