I live in Carousel Boutique. My Best Friend, Rarity was generous enough to hire me to be her official customer greeter.😊

Since I have not gotten up to that part yet in my fanfic I do not know, I've had some distractions lately let's just say that, but pertaining to the question you brought up, Snoopy Fan and I'm glad that you did.

I honestly don't know, the first out of the Mane Six my OC meets is Applejack, when my OC becomes lost in Everfree Forest, sleeps the night away after a long and tiring journey through the badlands, and then in the break of dawn, Applejack passes by and offers a helping hoof, also cautioning against sleeping in Everfree Forest alone at night being dangerous due to creatures there like Timberwolves, this takes place pre season 1 in an alternate timeline Equestria, where events play out almost the same.

Isn't this a difficult question for anyone to answer? I mean it's not like we can actually be in that fictional realm.

Ponyville would be one of the more obvious choices for me, but it is not the only one, if I chose more peaceful settings with less crowded areas, probably Sweet Apple Acres with Applejack, but then she may not want others hanging around her farm all the time. I could live somewhere distant from the farm but still in rural Equestria, I would need my own house, even a wooden shack with a stone fireplace would do and friendship there would mean more to me than anything, and for that I'd need money, so I'd need to learn skills there where I could have a job, which after rebirth in that fictional world, new younger and healthier body and better upbringing, should not be too much of an issue.

I don't expect to be spoiled there, I only want to get by and be nurtured to be kind and treat others well in return. My OC upon arriving in Everfree Forest is a homeless orphan Pegasi. There's a lot I'd be willing to sacrifice in order to fit in there. Friends mean more to me than material possessions like comics and video games, which is why I would not be sour about reincarnating there if my fantasy world scenario happened despite all the modern conveniences I've been used to in this world, and it won't happen. None of us will ever go there sadly, despite Equestria in MLP FIM being such a beautiful world where love and mercy takes precedence over greed and vanity. It's not quite a utopia, but for me and others who would enjoy being there, it's pretty darn close, at least the Monarchy there are not bloodthirsty tyrants, and they allow things like free press and for citizens to voice their concerns by writing letters to them. The real world for me sucks.

A very good question.

I'd want to live somewhere small and peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and where there aren't any major problems popping up every ten minutes. I think one of the smaller, lesser known villages would be ideal for me. If not, then a small cottage out in the plains where no problems could reach me.

I think I'd settle down in Ponyville, it seems like a peaceful small town with a tight knit community, so it'd be nice to live there. I'd be open to other places though, but I probably wouldn't want to permanently live in a large city or kingdom. Too much noise and hustle.

I’d live in the Castle of the Two Sisters. Granted I’d have to tidy the place up a little first, but I like the location, and the architecture is nice.

I think the same, if Ponyville's hustle and bustle was too much for me, I'd pick rural Equestria where I could live in solitude in a wooden cabin or something like that, if I was poor and nopony was willing to shelter me, I'd start out living in a cave, then learn how to survive as I make friends and ask them to teach me how to do different things.

It depends on how this wish presented itself though, none are possible. But if it was straight up ponification then sent to Equestria, I don't believe I could adapt to town life very well, given my disabilities and all. But reincarnation as a Pegasi after natural death as a human like in my fan fiction? sure, new body and new nature and nurture would mean my limitations will not be the same. Even if some of my phobias lingered from the past life, like phobia to vomit, I've thought of a story idea for my fanfic to write that I told Snoopy Fan about.

it involves Princess Luna in that alternate timeline offering exposure therapy for my OC, in the nightmare realm. It would suck, but I could not just let my problems burden them, so I would have to suck it up and do the unselfish thing, even if it's hard. My OC agrees to it in this fantasy world scenario, then my OC is taken to the nightmare realm repeatedly to become more resilient. I don't expect that adventure to be too easy, either, being tested for my loyalty to Equestria and their community, is exactly what I'd desire if I could choose this rebirth. Which sadly, nobody could ever have, however much some people may want it. Equestria is a beautiful world, I've even had one other person say to me it's a paradise, well, compared to the real world, for us, Equestria is somewhat of a paradise, but it does have its imperfections and challenges.

I’d love to live in a very quiet place, but still close enough to civilization so I wouldn’t feel lonely if I wanted to go out and make plans with somepony. I’d stay away from places like Canterlot or Manehattan.
Having somewhere nearby with beautiful views where I could enjoy the breeze while playing the guitar would be fantastic.

If I look at the official map of Equestria, I would like to live in the Galloping Gorge, so I could enjoy watching the silhouette of Canterlot behind Cloudsdale in the morning, and then climb a hill to see the sun hide behind the North Luna Ocean with the skyline of Vanhoover. If I crave a party someday, I'd have a train station close enough.

I'd like to know where the Mounts of Peril are, to move there if I felt too lonely too often.

Another reason for me to wish to be in the fantasy realm Equestria, I can make a playful Jab at Spike's eating habits while in that tour around Ponyville "Hey Rarity, he eats almost as much as me, now I've got competition!" :raritywink:
