Yup, I love Depeche Mode - 8.5/10

I don't normally listen to songs such as this one but High Voltage was a welcoming surprise. It had a great start up and the mix between techno and piano blended well together. The hardcore part turned me off initially but it grew on me as I continued to listen throughout the song. The pattern in which it shifted from calm to hardcore was well balanced and neither really dominated one or the other. This is the kind of song I'd definitely listen to when I want to concentrate on something, whether it be for work or my own personal studies. My only turn off was the abrupt ending, can't win them all I suppose.

I don't really know what to think. It was decent, but nothing groundbreaking. I'm neutral on this one - 5/10

 

Short song is short (the song actually ends at 1:20)
