Well, apart from Littlest Pet Shop now, I don't really watch anything too girly. I didn't even want to watch MLP at first since I though it was too girly, and I'm a girl! Well, I did watch the powerpuff girls but not that much. I preferred Pokemon and Digimon (they didn't air at the same time where I live so I could watch both, lucky me . I wanted to watch boy stuff mostly. Oh, and I watched Totally Spies now and then but I disliked some parts of it.

Crap, now I remember watching Candy Candy and Heidi with my sister. As much as I disliked the things, it was still one of the first anime I watched and for that, I can't completely hate them.

I watch Totally Spies! Sometimes...I have no idea why I like it, I just do. I can't think of any other girly shows that I have watched. Oh, I also watched Power Puff Girls when I was a kid....that show was awesome.Bubbles FTW

 

as awell as "The Amanda SHow"or "That's So Raven" and Lizzy McGuire...can't believe I liked those shows, lol....though I did like the alter ego thing Lizzie had.

Anyhow,I used to watch Totally Spies!,Sailor Moon,and Powerpuff Girls when I was younger.They were actually good cartoons in their own right and were quite adorable.I vaguely remember any of the actual episodes though,but I definitely enjoyed watching those three as a kid.

 

I also tried Powerpuff Girls Z,but that was just...eugh.I hate shojo anime.

Well...I like watching Good Luck Charlie from time to time. I hate to admit it, but I actually enjoy a lot of the sitcoms on Disney Channel xD

 

I think it's partly because they remind me of when I was a little kid and I would watch 'The Suite Life of Zack and Cody' and 'That's So Raven' at my Grandma's house with my cousins.

It really depends on what you consider a girl's show. Whether it be fluffy pink everywhere, or a girly main character, or just a girl main character, or whatever, it all depends.

Um, i watched Wizards of waverly place, if that counts, I actually had a crush on Selena gomez for a little... Thats gone now but yeah ;p.

Eh, it kinda just focuses on random family problems of a family involving a bunch of different genders and ages, from small children, to the middle kids and older kids and the adults.

 

Sure the main character is a girl, but idk if its considered a girly show necessarily still.

 

I haven't really watched it much, so maybe i don't really know though ;p.

 

Its more of a reality family show though. In my eyes atleast.

Well, I love Littlest Pet Shop, so that's something. That's the only girl show I can think of that I watch currently, and keep up with.

 

I did, however, watch a couple of girl shows when I was younger. I liked the older generations of My Little Pony (only first and third generations) as I used to watch them with my sister, and I grew to like them.

 

I also really liked Hannah Montana when it was on air; sue me. It was a pretty funny show.

 

And I guess if you count Wizards of Waverly Place as a girl's show; I watched that as well, but I think that's more of a family show. There weren't a lot of overly girly things in it.

 

There's probably other shows, but I can't think of them at the moment.

Sailor Moon when I was younger, because I would be dropped off at a babysitter's and it was on Toonami there.

 

The Power Puff Girls (I'm not sure if it counts, but I was embarrassed to admit that I liked it at the time because at 8 years old, I believed that it was a 'Girls Show'.)

As for me, I was into some arguably girly shows even before MLP. I used to watch a lot of anime and most of my favourites were either romances or slice-of-life. If I had to name a few, the ones that come to mind are...

 

• CLANNAD - Not sure how "girly" it is, but it contains a lot of romance and sappy emotional stuff. It made me cry, at least, so I'd say it counts.
• ARIA - Laid back slice-of-life story with mainly female characters. Contains a lot of sappy, girly stuff too. This is one of my favourite shows besides MLP. Every episode gave me a relaxed and uplifted feeling, and the music is so catchy and soothing, I had to download the soundtrack just so I can listen to it before I go to sleep.
• Azumanga Daioh - Hilarious comedy involving mostly female characters as well.
• Onegai My Melody - Uh... forgot exactly what this one is about. Something about a bunny who has to protect dreams with magic... Anyway, it contains a bunch of cute animals, so what's not to love?
• Jewelpet - Haven't watched much of this one yet, but I'm liking it so far. Like the one above, it has a lot of cute animals. It's owned by the same company too, who consequentially also owns Hello Kitty, another girly thing that I kind of... think is cute.
• Littlest Pet Shop - One of the few "girly" shows that I like that isn't an anime. As you can probably tell by now, I like cute animals, but besides that, it also has entertaining storylines, great music, and high quality animation. What else can you expect from the same studio that makes MLP?

 

That's all I can think of at the moment, but there are many others. Basically I'm drawn to anything romantic, sad, charming, funny, or cute. Consequentially, that usually means "girly".

Besides MLP I watch lots of girly anime, girly things are cool so I'm not embarrassed about linking them. I don't really watch other girly cartoons though, MLP is the only one that really does it for me. I also listen to lots of "girly" music. It's so energetic and happy, I love it!
