I'm going to catch some flak for my answer, but the pony I actually find least attractive is Vinyl Scratch. I think if she had a mane that did anything else other than stick out at all angles, she'd be tolerable, but I don't like how she looks.

Agreed. Her mane is just a mess and her eyes were revealed to be red which looks absolutely creepy with her color scheme to me, and those glasses/goggles things she covers her eyes with don't do much to help her look better. I will probably catch some flak here too, but I'm under the impression aesthetics are subjective, and that there isn't really a right or wrong answer to this question, so eh. I won't put up a fight if someone raises their fists

I always thought Princess Luna had a bit of an ugly design personally (I love dark colors but when it comes to her it doesn't look right to me). And while I like Vinyl, her design isn't exactly "pretty". Applejack isn't too high on the prettiest ponies list either.

I don't think any of the mane six are ugly. They're all adorable to me with Fluttershy and Applejack being the cutest based on appearance alone.

 

As for the ugliest ... well let me just say that Twist is not so pretty. Vinyl Scratch is awesome but she isn't that good-looking either. Spitfire is overrated in her appearance too.
