To start I bet Vinyl Scratch would own a snake or some type of reptile.

Just like everyone else, my first thought was that Octavia would have a cat. Octavia to me just seems classy and fancy like Rarity, so it seems like she would have a cat. Our beloved DJ would have something cool, I'm thinking (just like everyone else) a reptile, maybe one that matches the colors of her mane.
