Funny. I've already seen that video, and liked it on my YouTube account!

About Volcano, I don't know how I forgot, but that's another one to add to the bucket list! Those heartline rolls... Man... They need the love! (I'm a hippie too now!)

Here's another Six Flags-Pony crossover video!

OH MY... YES! haha Volcano is a freakin' master work. Not only does it look cool, from what I've heard it rides extremely well. Even though it's been around for a LONG time.

One year I was on the Prwoler at Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, MO and they were haveing their Halloween thing. they hadn't gotten the lights on the ride yet and the lights from the park that usally lite it up were turned off. Pitch black. It was the coolest ride I'd been on.

Castles 'N Coasters recently had a special offer for their unlimited rides pass (normally $25). It was discounted to just $16.75. Being the only true amusement park in Arizona, my brother and I just had to take the offer and go!

I had never been to the park before, and wasn't quite sure what to expect. One thing I did know for sure was that it had a most unusual looping coaster!

That's enough of an introduction; there's really not too much else to say about the park. Let's get to the pictures!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14490

There it is! Arizona's own roller coaster!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14491

The park had a lot of this style artwork painted on the walls and fences. Pretty cool!

The size of the park is ridiculously small! It's upsetting to see such a crammed park surrounded by a massive, yet empty, parking lot. There's definitely potential for a better park!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14493

Back to the coaster, Desert Storm! This is actually one of the better coasters I've ridden. It's a great ride in the front or back seats!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14494

One of the things that makes this coaster great is the odd shape of the loops. They start out as any normal loop would, but when they level off, they level off very sharply! The second loop is especially weird, as it curves significantly to the right halfway through. They create really unusual, yet awesome g-forces!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14495

Check out that strange loop!

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14496

Yes, the loops are pretty much the only æsthetically-interesting parts of the ride to photograph from the paths.

http://coaster-net.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=14498

Station shot! Very basic station! Apparently, gates were not in the park's budget.

We rode other rides, too! This is Sky Diver. It's a 120 foot (37 meter) drop tower. There's a funny story on this... I was sat next to a fairly little girl (just barely tall enough to ride!). She look excited, but a bit nervous, and she mentioned that she'd ridden the ride several times already (this was my second ride). Knowing that drop towers always seem to catch me off-guard, I half-jokingly told her that I would probably scream louder than her. Sure enough, when the car dropped, I screamed like a little girl; way louder than her! Everyone who was watching the ride was just laughing so hard when I got off; myself included!

Check it out! It's quite possibly the world's smallest ferris wheel! Sadly, it was not open.

Before we left the park, my brother made sure to snap this geek shot!

Overall, I think the park was really nice! Certainly underappreciated, judging by the almost completely empty lines for every ride. The Log Flume was another great ride that they managed to squeeze into the tiny place (I didn't get pictures of it, but my brother has a POV filmed). If the park had season passes, I would be there far too often!

Oh man I know! I saw these at Drivers Ed. It looks amazing! I can't wait to see what that outside turn feels like with just lap restraints!

Now for something sad... The effort to remove SOB has started... I think I'm the only one that's sad about it.

Hmmm... I'm not the happiest about it, and I never even got to ride it which is a shame...hopefully something worthy will take its spot someday.

I love this ride! This is called: The Xcelorator, and it's at Knott's Berry Farm. It's so fast, and wild, but it's such a short ride.. Wish it was longer :D

Eeyup! It's a pretty great ride! I too wish it was longer. I suppose we can all be "gelosi degli italiani"! Yes, the Italians have iSpeed. Basically, Intamin's launched coaster; perfected.

Yes I've always wanted to ride this, but I never seem to be in the area...

Maybe they will do something like continue the beasts legacy... Like call it Beast:Legacy, Like have a perfected helix as a reminder to the Son of Beast... Or something. I just think it needs to pay homage to the legendary ride that once was there.

Same here... Indiana isn't exactly the big name in roller coasters, and I'm basically the only roller coaster enthusiast in my area... What's your favorite coaster?

Ah I see. Disneyland is way better for roller coasters then Disneyworld. I honestly can't remember my first ride... I do however remember the one that scarred my memories, and made me stop riding roller coasters for around 6 years...

Darn, it kind of sucks that the off season is upon us. It seems like I kind of get out of the theme park mood until around march or april... I wounder how I can keep myself occupied this winter.

Yeah I know right! This is the first time I'm actually sad about the off season. Then again this winter we are getting a new season of MLP so that will keep me occupied at least...

Scarred? What ride? Why was it soc scarring? I have (thankfully and surprisingly never been emotionally scarred before so this is interesting)

I am also glad that MLP will be back this winter :)

(PS. Your username makes me think of a Paul Simon song ((like on his album Graceland which i have been listening to lately)))

It was when I was 5... I might sound really wimpy for saying this, but it was the Howler at Holiday World... Yeah, it's nothing big, my mom forced me on it. I can still see the bottom of the first drop in my head... I was crying the first time around, then they went around again... Remember I was only 5...

(I was thinking about that as well...)

I remember riding those at my towns fair. Me and my friends were riding one of those last year... We were all like 14 so we were worried it wasn't going to make it up the hill.

Haha never too old, my friends and I still go on the race car roller coaster for little kids and the Carousel (Always the giraffe or lion)

The 'big' roller coaster is pretty fun but doesn't last too long and is quite uncomfortable (like for you head and neck)

By big roller coaster do you mean a pinfari ride. Or like the portable coaster that was designed by Schwarzkopf. I've been on a pinfari and they do hurt your neck... like bad.

Pretty sure it was a Pinfari, one time on my birthday I went on it 17 times in a row, then I went on the screaming eagle like 5 times but then some kid barfed :P hmm not sure what to classify the screaming eagle as but it is SUPER fun. We ALMOST revisited my moms nachos after one ride on the roller coaster though XD

Haha sounds like a good time :P . (the screaming eagle is a flat ride I believe). I couldn't ride a roller coaster even 10 times in a row... Dat is crazy... XD

Haha I'm a madwoman, motorcycles and fast vehicles and thrill rides, love em. The screaming eagle is sortof a swing hammer that goes quite fast, if it was a clock you would go from 2 o'clock to 10 o'clock very high in the air, you are strapped into a semi chair like seat and go very nearly upside down.
