There has been a new coaster announced for Liseberg Park in Sweden for 2014. Looks pretty sweet!

 

Now if I could only find a way to get to Sweden

 

Dude, that looks freaking amazing. I love the colors, and the layout in total. Also those trains look pretty sweet as well, if Projekt helix is just the name of the project, I wonder what the real name will be.

Well, Sony Vegas has been messing with me the past week, but I was finally able to edit a new video! Nothing too special, just a short offride video of the Skyscreamer at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

This ride is packed with 80mph speeds and it is 232 feet high. The first drop is almost 90 degrees. It is a hyper-twister coaster. Here's a picture of it

Very nice video! That is one underrated ride in my opinion...

I love roller coasters so much! The best park I've been to is probably Cedar point, although I've never been to any park outside the US. My favorite ride is probably either The Vortex, Millenoum Force, or Mean Streak.

I honestly used to be like that. I wouldn't ride anything with a drop, because I disliked that feeling, but then I tried it, and used all my courage, got on to the Voyage, (160 ft tall) and I lived through, and had the time of my life.

Wait the Vortex at Kings Island??? I went on that, it hurt so bad XD. Cedar point is what people think of when they see theme park, because well it is the most popular. I love the Millinium force.

Yeah, it hurts...but it has good memories. It was the first roller coaster I went on that went upside down. I really wanna go back to Cedar Point soon.

I've been on the Vortex a few times and it didn't hurt. One time, me and one of my friends got another friend to ride it and she wasn't pleased. She was kind of mad at us.

 

Anyways I love roller coasters. I plan to go to Cedar Point at some point, I don't know when though.

That is CGI. I really can't wait for it to open up.

In other news Son Of Beast's demolition is complete. I'm rather sad about this. It will be missed, as it was the first inverting wooden coaster.

Dude, Windseeker is beast.

I honestly hope they continue the Beast legacy and put in a Monster wooden coaster named Daughter of Beast, and let Rocky Mountain Coasters do it, so it can have more inversions then Outlaw Run.

Really? That's cool. I used to design them all the time. Heck I did an entire project designing a roller coaster. Do you draw them or, do you use a digital designer such as NoLimits?

No but I've heard a lot about it, I'll have to try it sometime when I have the spare time to do so. I usually get really addicted to that type of game.

A mixture of both. Usually I start by drawing them but if the design is good enough I model them digitally. But usually my designs are really something I think is worth modelling.

 

I've always wanted to model a roller coaster. Heck I even tried building one of my designs in my backyard (full size), but I was stopped by my own stupidity.(I built the track before the supports) I usually do digital designs, because that's what I'm most comfortable with.

Backwards coasters seem to be all the rage now. Like it? Hate it? Personally, I think it's really cool, but I do worry that we'll start losing classic rides to this new trend, and I have mixed emotions about that.

Man i loved Roller Coaster Tycoon 1+2 but just couldnt get on board with #3. It just seemed like a completely different game. I built som many great coasters through those.

 

Biggest issues with coasters is that too many parks make them just too intense these days, either i won't want to ride them or they may end up hurting some one eventually. I still think the best ideas are trying to get them partially underground or coming perilously close. The Disneyland coasters are pretty great even if a little tame (ok not the Ca Adventure ones which was spot on)
