music Hunted

This is another track from the same album Ivory is going to be in, named Hunted. Hunted basically conveys the story of a fox hunt, with both calm and ominous parts along with frenetic and tense parts. Would love some feedback, as I haven't show many preview tracks from this album.

...This sounds like when one of those 5 year olds sits infront of a piano and plays random stuff that makes you wanna go mad. I don't really know how you could improve it either since it was like

Odd, this struck me as one of my LESS random seeming tracks. But, then again, I know that because I know the MIDI notes.

It's really not possible for it to actually be mish-mashed. I can only play up to three notes at a time.

 

The reason this song sounds so... all over the place... is because it was inspired by a song that was all over the place. I was inspired to write this after listening to Ravel Gaspard's "De La Nuit Scarbo", which is considered the hardest piano song intended to be playable. That song was equally... noisy... in parts. Seriously, look at the sodding midi for that in Synthesia. Granted, my track is a lot less complex...

 

The story draws from my own personal experiences and feelings of being hunted by others, be it for survival, sport, or greed. So I took those feelings and visualized them as a story, and the notes show clearly mixed and frenetic feeling.

 

Id est, the mish-mashed effect is what I was going for. Just like Ravel was going for a frenetic and complex pace, I chose a frenetic and ominous pace.

 

Edit: The fact I only can play three notes at a time and that I have only two octaves to use doesn't help.

I found it rather nice. Trust me a 5 year old mashing the keyboard sounds far worse. The tempo is nice and the changing from slower to faster was nice. Good job.
