This is mah favorite work I have done yet . Behold, the ADLV-T/C3 UNICORN

For so long, I had trouble trying to find a good design for this thing. Well, now I finally have it . This thing is actually giant, mind you. Its horn shoots rapid fire missile, while those 2 cylinders on its body are chainguns.

 

The appearance (Mostly the head) was sorta inspired from the alien ships from Battleship, but it's not all that noticable. The horn is much inspired from that movie, namely the alien's weapons.

 

What do you think ?

what I can say? it's pretty cool, I REALLY can't bring myself to draw something with that much metal, I would need to study engineering before trying to draw something like this

When I picked up the pencil, I looked at it, and I was thinking about sharpening it, but I was like "Nahhh". Plus, I press hard when I write/draw, so it's gonna end up dark and pretty thick for the most part

Popular in a little over 15 minutes? That's pretty awesome if you ask me. I've done similiar drawings (Actually, related I should say) in the past, and they didn't get as popular as this. I'm gonna do some more stuff in the future, for you guys

At first it kind of scared me but i'm in love with it now!

 

It's a reall cool idea and now you just need to slap some colour on to it! I mean... if you want, it looks good with out colour though

Funny thing is, it only took around 30-45 minutes to complete, yet just trying to scan it onto mah grandpa's computer was a pain in the ass -_-

 

Also, trust me when I say that mah previous renditions of this thing were NO WHERE near as good. I'm a talented artist, but trying to draw the UNICORN was quite a challenge. Thanks for all the feedback, makes me want to post more drawings to this site.

 

I think I'm planning on redoing the HUMMINGBIRD I made in the past, and a new battleship/destroyer type thing.......

To me that looks like an AT-AT + Twilight Sparkle.

As soon as a saw that it reminded me of an AT-AT walker from Star Wars. Its like that and a unicorn had a baby. Not saying thats a bad thing. Its freaken awesome. Great job man seriously.

You were scared out it? That's what I wanted to hear . I don't color because it almost ALWAYS messes up mah drawings, and can you imagine if I messed this one up with color? I would've been pissed

This is everything a pony shouldn't be... I love it. So much. Dude, this is awesome! Excellent job on this piece of artwork, it sure is different to most pony art. Makes a nice change. The weapon on its back looks a teeny little bit wonky, but that hardly matters. Again, well done .

If it was an MLP-styled unicorn, it'd be in the MLP fan-art section . I have tried to draw Applejack before, but it always turns out wierd. I'm just not good at drawing animals (This is mechanical, so it's doesn't count)

I dunno, though. Drawing animals for me has always been a pain in the ass. I much prefer drawing robotic animals which don't need a whole lotta realism in them .

If it were MLP-related, then yeah, I would call it the Twilight Sparkle . It's full name (ADLV-T/C3 UNICORN) means something.....

I wouldn't want a pony war to happen . Besides, I'm sure the Elements of Harmony would resolve things. Ya know, unless it gets destroyed .

The horn is a weapon. It's basically a rapid-fire missile launcher (It's got multiple tubes at it's tip). Also, it doesn't nescessarily have camo on it, although now that I think of it, it'd look neat . Even though you didn't mention it, the two cylinders on it's back are also weapons. They can either be chainguns when the 2 halves are combined, or if the tubes are split up, can be mortars . Also, those 2 things pocking out in the very back are turrets.

The legs were sorta inspired by Star Wars. The UNICORN used to look a lot like the Tripods from War of the Worlds,

but I decided to give it a more mechanical look. The head was inspired by the alien ships from Battleship,

while the body, well, wasn't really inspired by anything .

Well, good thing I combined the two . I just had to make a robot walker, and I thought to myself "It has to be a horse " and after nearly a year, this thing turned up .

 

Also, I wil be uploading the NOVA soon. I'm hoping it gets as much attention as the UNICORN, but I sorta doubt it. I'm pretty sure a big reason why so many of you guys came is because it had the word "UNICORN" in the title . Still, I hope that you guys will also take a look at the NOVA. It took a few hours for me to draw, considering I had to make the symmetry right, plus I drew a lot of small details, and the planet Saturn in the background .

 

Alright, so hears the deal. I was supposed to upload the NOVA space carrier yesterday, but I dun goofed and decided to procrastinate. I ended up forgetting to scan the pic. Now I can't scan it for another month since I have to scan it mah grandpa's place, and mah grandparents are in Quito, Ecuador for a month.
