Spike is not amused

So, my friend told me i should draw spike, i figured it would be easy enough so set to it. Nearly 2 hours later the drawing is finished.

 

I was using this picture as a reference:

Q & A:

 

Q - Why did it take nearly 2 hours?

A - That bloody tail! I must have redrawn it 10 times before i gave up and left it as is.

 

Q - Why are the lines thicker than usual?

A - Just got a drawing app on my ipad and want to see if i can digitally render this.

 

Q - Why is his head an odd shape?

A - Because that is just how i roll.

It looks pretty great! I must say, it looks almost exactly like the original. So I must say you did a really really great job on this Lost.

 

Thanks (no-longer) Dusty i tend to notice all the flaws only after uploading them as sat at an angle drawing i don't see them, but to upload the picture i the picture from above which means i can spot the flaws, such as the odd shaped head, nose and eye :/

Not at all, i reworked the tail so many times that i ended up spending about 50 mins just on that, i invested about 1 hour and 50mins into this, i've only been drawing for about a month so i make many errors that i have to rub out and redraw. Most of my drawings end up being either entirely redrawn or just scrapped.

My only problem is that the inner lines for the ear is sloppy and the arrow on the tail is too small. But I shouldn't criticize so much since I can't even draw a chicken right.

 

Other than that, its pretty much almost pinpoint perfect as a sketch.

I actually like this, it's pretty accurate. The only thing I actually don't like is the fact that it looks like his chin is chubby.

It's a very nice picture and all, but you should really work on you're time management Two hours is way too long

 

Once again, nothing wrong with the drawing itself, you just need to practice on getting a bit faster

It looks great. I think the tail looks great, but the heag is a little egg headed. Yet, I have not tried to draw spike yet, so I cannot be too picky.
