fuzzystuff12 29 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Usually I sit and lay like a zombie on the couch watching Netflix, TV, or I go on the Computer. If I'm not too sick i'll try and use my brain for something like drawing or some type of art. I can't stand the fall and wintertime because I get sick like literally once a month. I'm sick right now...
murkyx 904 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Usually I get paranoid about sickness. I have a heightened case of Epstein-Barr Virus, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, so too much stress actually physically causes my immune system (and mood) to crash. (Hence why I had to eventually settle for a GED because I missed too much school) Usually the sickness goes away when my immune system restarts, which is when I eliminate that stress, usually by getting my mind off of myself by going on the internet. So it will last from a day to a week. Usually end up eating a ton of soup and swallowing a lot of pills from my mother, who is pretty much a human pharmacy. Sometimes I'll know it's something more serious when it feels more severe. Thanks to my shot defenses, I've ended up with Mono, Scarlet Fever, West Nile Virus, and Swine Flu all within the past 4 years, and I get sick at around 20 times a year. The crummy thing about my Chronic Fatigue is that it messes with the mind as well. You loose all will to even get up and do something about your sickness, or anything else for that matter, you just want to wallow in pain in the same position for hours upon hours, which is horrible and incredibly uncomfortable, but almost impossible to argue against when you experience it. Silver Boulder 123 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Lay in bed, have laptop on bed so I can go on the internet, play my various emulators like Super Nintendo, and just relax. Gotta love playing some old games like Secret of Mana while in bed and listening to MLP music :
Flying Whales 311 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Make my mom sing to me “soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur, happy kitty sleepy kitty purr, purr, purr.” XD Not really, I just play some Xbox and hate my life. Verde Wub 52 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 I stay in bed most of the day, usually watching YouTube videos or browsing various sites. I try and go outside for at least an hour if it's a decent temperature to get some fresh air and prevent myself from screwing up my neck by half-sitting in bed all day. Zygen 6,066 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 I don't get sick to often but I normally just have to take some form of medicine and depending on what it is I'll just be on the internet with tissues at hand. Watching youtube playing video games, ect. Also if I feel really bad I sometimes even take more then 1 shower a day. Just because it makes me feel better. Celtore 2,770 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 Well, this is somewhat ironic. I haven't been sick for over seven months and the day after I post in this thread, I wake up with a cold. Thankfully it isn't that bad, but the timing couldn't have been any more perfect XD
Zachzab 14 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 I do exactly what I normally do. Wake up. School. Computer. Computer. Computer. Eat. Computer. Computer. Sleep. I'm too addicted to the computer to change my life around getting sick, even if I'm miserable. 2 When nothing's going right for you, why don't you try going left? http://mlpforums.com/topic/33139-planning-a-mlp-game-based-on-assassins-creed-need-help/
Killian Jones 2,655 September 16, 2012 Share September 16, 2012 I would have to physically be incapacitated to get me to get some rest. Like leg pain, being insanely tired or in too much pain to move. Otherwise 'd go by my day as usual.
Evilshy 5,090 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 Depends on how sick I am. If not very, I'll skip some things (like church) but still go to others I'd rather not miss (such as a class I like, or work). If I'm a bit more sick, I skip everything and take it easy all day so I get better faster (unless it's a weekend and I have no plans, I'll keep myself sick through the whole thing so nobody can make me do anything). No matter what I choose to do, I pump myself full of pills and then, if I'm skipping stuff, alternate between bed, computer, and games. I'll usually turn on some TV while eating, as well. ~The Snowy Wolf~ 1,579 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 The last time I was sick, Superbowl XLIV was on (and if you look at my profile, you'll see it was a pretty big deal). So I just sat in bed and was like, "F*** my f****** life." Angie Cakes 50 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 cans upon cans of canned orange juice :I so much canned orange juice. I still almost always have to go to school though. usually when I get /really/ sick, it's on a weekend, but my sister misses a lot of school for being just a little sick, so usually my mom will let me stay home one day anyways if I get better before the weekend is over. Creamy Arty 6,252 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 My ideal sick day would be stretching out on the couch or staying in bed while sipping coffee and watching something like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. Wizard of Oz would work too. Those just feel like sick day movies. The reality of my sick days is I spend them hunched over in my computer chair playing shooters and other things that are far from relaxing. AegisReflector 886 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 I never really get sick, and when I do, I usually go along my busy day as if nothing happens. I don't really believe in modern medicine (Pharmaceutical drugs, to me, are just a crock), so I usually try to work out whenever I have the Common Cold (run maybe 3-4 miles, lift, or play Basketball, depending if I'm not too tired or achy). I say that physical activity is the best medicine, provided your ailment isn't a broken bone or something lol.
Krystal 1,468 September 17, 2012 Share September 17, 2012 I used to worship the days I'd get sick because then I wouldn't have to go to school just at the expense of a little bit of sniffles. Plus you get to have your parents do everything for you like bring you food, get the remote for you, etc. And if you miss assignments in school then the teachers will usually excuse you. But then came high school and teachers don't care if you had a flesh eating virus; they still want that essay turned in my Monday. So now I hate it when I get sick because then I miss school and have to make everything up. But luckily most of my classes are converting to online so I can just complete all assignments online. But the changes probably won't be applied to all my classes until my senior year so until then I'm just going to hope I don't get sick. avatar and sig by your's trulyask me anything DeviantArt

ChuniaC 52 September 19, 2012 Share September 19, 2012 I like to just lay down for a long while in a completely silent dark room. and day dream. sometimes if i'm tired this can lead to lucid dreaming witch is like the greatest thing to happen when you need time to fly. It goes like this. When you lucid dream you are sleeping. But you are aware of that and can alter anything in the dream you can imagine. Even the laws of physics if you feel like it. The problem with this is if you don't focus hard the dream can slip into becoming a normal dream. Other than that it's really really fun Signature by Cloud Chaser
DuskSong 742 September 20, 2012 Share September 20, 2012 When I get sick, I usually wake up in the middle of the night and throw up, and I don't go back to school for 2-3 days. I am allowed on the computer sometimes, but I usually sleep, read magazines, or watch T.V in bed. letterone 1,204 September 20, 2012 Share September 20, 2012 When i'm sick i'm usually fever hallucinating, so then i make my "sick tracks". Some of them turn out pretty bizarre and i use alot of white noise and instruments i've made myself. They make me feel very light headed when i'm hallucinating. And it's always fun and fascinating to listen to the result when i'm well again. Bro, if I ever get that sick, I'm totally gonna do that. I need more weird songs. But what I usually do when I'm sick is stay there in my room and sleep, watch TV, or listen to my small amount of albums on my Boombox. It's ironic how I fall just to get back up again... Fire_Fly 499 September 20, 2012 Share September 20, 2012 Getting sick rarely ever changes my usual off-time schedule. Sleep, play video games, and and hang out here! Although, seeing as how being sick gives me an excuse to sleep in a little more than I already do, I tend to stay in bed while doing both, just in case the sudden urge to doze off strikes me. I've got an idea! No..... No, wait; it's just a concussion....
