I ordered my slaves to build my palace with a great staircase so that I could ascend each morning and keep watch over my kingdom. And I know nothing of "gak," except for the sound my foalish enemies make when I step on their throats...

Celestia is barely a worthy adversary, let alone an alicorn to "fancy." Luna? Once a great mare, now a feeble supplicant to the sun.

I care nothing for other ponies; they are fit only to be my slaves.  Though I did not mind watching the purple one climb my stairs...

King Sombra, When you returned, did you consider taking upon another plan of attack rather than attacking the Crystal Empire? I mean, Celestia probably wouldn't Expect you to freeze Canterlot in a giant crystal. Then when the Mane six go there to stop you, you could make your way o the crystal empire and take things over there.

It would be most unwise to compare me to them. Discord was merely a nuisance in power, and a miserable clown without it. He was easily overthrown even by your precious alicorns. Perhaps even I had a hand in his removal...and unlike Chrysalis, I needed no dark army to exert my will.

The Crystal Empire was merely an impoverished town when I took my rightful place on the throne. With my beloved slaves, I built it into a kingdom. And I shall rule again.

I knew nothing of what the alicorns' little servants had planned when the thousand years expired. I was a shadow slowly attaining physical form, and knew only the desire to reclaim my kingdom.

The repeated use of dark magics led to changes in my appearance...all quite welcome, of course. Even the almighty Sombra was once a humble pony--but one destined from foalhood to rule.

Fool. I have never known humiliation. I know only power...or the absence of power.
