Whenever I'm asked this I say I'm agnostic. Partly because I actually don't feel that I know, and partly because that's the kind of copout answer that I just love.

I'm a Catholic, raised in a Catholic family and I love it. Not a very devout one but hey, at least I do my part by going to Mass every weekend.

I believe in my own judgment and my ability to understand what is 'good' and what is 'right'. I have no reason to require someone else or an idea to accept a full responsibility and the consequences as a result of what I've done.

 

If god exists and when the time comes where I have to answer for what I've done throughout my life, then I will take my stand and accept full responsibility for all I've done, but I really don't have to answer that to a priest or someone who believes that god exists and they know the god's intention.

Well, doesn't matter, it's strange that they divided the agnostics, theists and atheists in 3 camps, while nearly all atheists and most theists are agnostic ;-P, like 70/80 procent of the agnostics here are agnostic atheists and the 20/30 procent are agnostic theists.

I'm a strange sort of Christian/Taoist hybrid. There's a lot that I believe that isn't written down in Bibles or Science books. But I do believe in a creative power, no matter whether science calls it sentient or not.

 

I also believe in the fact that it is a matter of belief and conviction. No matter who says what, it's up to everypony to make up their own mind and stick to their beliefs. Because it's part of what defines us.

What religion are you? I personally am an atheist, as well as my brother. My dad is an agnostic, and most of my friends are atheists. Religion makes a lot of people happy, and brings meaning to many peoples lives, but also kills people and discriminates people. religion is somewhat a mixed bag. what do you think?
