Have You Changed Your Favorite Mane 6 Pony Since You Started Watching?

My original favorite was Applejack. 

 

 

The reason Twilight wasn't my favorite originally is because while she was a social recluse and better at tackling situations on her own, things we had in common, they weren't things I really liked too much about myself. Applejack was the original element of generosity by exhibiting lavish hospitality at their first meeting, and as a country girl complete with a southern accent was someone with whom I could easily identify.

 

These days Applejack has been demoted to second, and now it's Twilight who occupies first place. She's grown in her relationships and is considerably more personable than she was originally.

When I first started watching MLP, my favorite was Rainbow Dash, then Luna, then Spitfire, then Twilight Sparkle, and now all 4. I can't really choose a favorite. lol

I've seen guys saying that RD is the most easy character to latch onto early in watching MLP, since she's the least girly of the mane6. I have to admit I really liked that about RD right from the getgo, and I haven't ever stopped thinking she's the best. A polarizing character, to be sure, but she's still my favorite!

It seems like Fluttershy was almost everyones first favourite and or as of now. But same goes for me, Fluttershy used to be my favourite but now i like Rainbow Dash and i also like Rarity but RD takes best pony but it can change during Season 4

Right before I started watching the show, I thought that if I did ever end up liking the show, it would be Pinkie Pie and/or Rainbow Dash. I used to play with the mlp toys when I was little and I remembered Pinkie and Rainbow. At first it was Twilight, because I related to her a little bit and she is adorkable. As I watched more episodes, though, it changed to Fluttershy and she is still my favorite. I can relate to her more than Twilight and shes adorable. Rarity and Pinkie Pie have grown on me, though. For non mane six its the cmc. When I first watched all of the episodes I always looked forward to seeing the cmc. I don't really know why I love the cmc I just do.

When I first started watching the show, Fluttershy was by far my favourite, and she stayed my favourite for a very long time. But after getting more and more involved in the fandom and getting into fanfiction and stuff, Vinyl became my favourite, and has been for a good 7 months now.

Well, let's see. When I first made the decision that I wanted to watch the show, I didn't have a favorite - they all appealed to me in their own ways. About two days before I started to watch it, I took the personality quiz on the MLP Wikia, and I came up as Rarity. At first I was surprised, because getting Rarity seemed so... well, rare. Then she began to grow on me. I saw the show and she became my favorite.

 

Now? She still ranks first in my list of favorites. Just look at my profile. It's obvious.

When I first saw the show, Rarity was my favorite pony.  I loved her design, voice, personality, and her over-reactions.  I'm just going to say she grew on me the fastest out of the other ponies.  Now, Rarity is still my favorite pony, but Applejack has became my second favorite pony.  She also grew on me and the pony personality quiz said I'm the most like her.

, just letting you know that I've merged your thread with an older one that we had for sharing whether our favorite character has changed over time. Mine hasn't, though the rest of mine have shuffled around a fair bit.

 

 

 

I didn't like RD too much till "Hurricane Fluttershy". That immediately launched her up to a solid third in my list of favorite ponies. If Rarity doesn't have any great episodes this season, Rainbow Dash will go to 2nd.

Pinkie Pie started out as one of my favourites, until I started watching more episodes..
By the time I got to Season 2, Fluttershy was my favourite.
However now, Pinkie and Flutters are absolutely equal, so I guess that's KIND of a change.

 

Although.. Applejack has been climbing up my list over the past few weeks.. So who knows, maybe I'll have 2 DIFFERENT favourites..

No, not since I finished watching season 1 anyway. I joined the fandom before season 2 started, so I caught up on all of the episodes on YouTube and The Hub. Throughout the first season I had a difficult time picking a favorite, but I believe Rainbow Dash was my initial favorite for a short while. By the time I finished all 26 episodes, I knew for sure that Applejack was the one I liked the most. And since then, my love of her character has grown intensely. She had a good season 2 and an outstanding season 3. Now I can't wait to see what she'll do in season 4.

I started out with Fluttershy, then I liked Applejack for a while. And now I just absolutely adore Twilight, Tara Strong is always so spot on with keeping her voice consistent which is something I appreciate. Although I did like Tabetha St. Germain's change in Rarity's accent in Look Before You Sleep.

My favourite Mane 6 pony has changed a couple of times.

Twilight was my first favourite, but I leaned more towards Fluttershy and RD around S7 onwards. At that point, Twi had already been an alicorn for a couple of seasons and I was more fond of the growth of RD and Flutters, as they had a lot more to work towards. I'd still say Twi is my favourite overall, though.

Nah Applejack is perfection. But I came to love others almost as much in many ways. Twilight is perfect, but to Mary sue. The others have defectives, you all know and I don't need to rehash, but Applejack is literally just trying to live her life honestly and handle others problems out of the good of her heart. Fluttershy roasting Pinkie and Rarity is pretty real, let's boil things down to the literals and look at who these ponys all are.

Yes. My original favorite for FiM was Applejack then Fluttershy and then I finally decided Twilight Sparkle

My favorite of the mane 6 has always been really close between Twilight and Applejack.

Twilight used to be my favorite early on when I was binging the series for the first time, but AJ slowly overtook her as my favorite after a while. Both are awesome, obviously.

 

That being said, I of course really love all of the mane 6, and it's very difficult for me to choose between them.
