Rarity: Now here's a girl who'd leave a trail of broken hearts all through high school . Don't get me wrong, I love the character to bits, but I'll be the first to admit, that she got a very manipulative side. Considering her fairy tale wedding plans however, I doubt she would go all the way.

Verdict: A dozen devastated colts, heterosexual, most likely virgin

 

Pinkie Pie: I'm really not sure here. Her easy going nature seems to suggest she'd get around quite a lot, but she seems too childish for anything serious to happen. That and her quasi-amish upbringing.

 

Rainbow Dash: Delicately put, I don't think Dash is stable relationship material. But her whole devil-may-care attitude would suggest, she'd be the first to try something (she seems the type to use the term "lovenasium"). Also I don't think she'd care much for gender; if she finds somepony attractive.

Verdict: An untold number of wild nights and rocked worlds, bisexual

 

 

These are the ones I disagree on.

 

Rarity - I think that Rarity while very much wanting the fairy tale wedding likely has been with a colt or two in her life. Just because you sleep with someone doesn't mean you can't wear white.

 

Rainbow Dash - Often the most brash of people are making up for something. I don't think she's been around too much, but I do think she's not as confident, love life wise, as you would expect.

 

Pinkie Pie - Being a party lover and we've seen that she can go really wild (that photo of her in the punch bowl) I suspect there might have been a wild night or two. Being as innocent as she is I think she probably thought the relationships would go further than they did in the end.

As for the quasi amish thing, true. But I suspect she's rebelled... or went on rumspringer and decided to live life her way in the end.

Actually other than the Amish thing Pinkie reminds me of one of my friends, who after being with many people (and always thought they would lead somewhere) eventually found that one guy and settled down.

This sounds terrible but... Rarity is the loosest pony. She's a tease and out of all the mane six, her mind has shown to be preoccupied with colts the most. Every other mane six member seems to have vague stance on romance, with Rarity being the only clear one drawn to anything. (Except people who believe the show ship teases Twilight and Shining Armor.. Icky)

I don't think "loose" is fitting here, she seems to have a lot of self control. Manipulative is more fitting IMO. Also, I don't think she has expressed serious interest in anyone since the Gala.

 

Rainbow Dash: Probably something like the Winningverse's Cloud Kicker. Verdict: Has probably bucked most of the town, bisexual, but also probably has something she's hiding. Like a secret crush on Fluttershy that she's had since flight camp, perhaps?

Most of the town? I think Dash would have a pretty high standard in terms of her partners.

I personally don't think Rarity goes around that much, yeah she's probably a bit of a tease but I can imagine her just waiting on that one stallion that she can have her fantasy marriage and life with.  Going to agree that Rainbow Dash probably doesn't care that much about relationships seeing as she's either napping or flying. I doubt she'd be willing to commit to something else until she's older.

 

For some reason I think Twilight might have a crush on Celestia, just because of the cliche teacher and student thing. Other Celestia though she'll probably end up with a stallion who's a good dad.

I do agree with Aaramus on the possibility of a Twilight -> Celestia crush. Twilestia is one of my favorite ships, after all She's certainly obsessed with Celestia... and a bit afraid of her.

 

It seems to me there's also a distinct possibility that Celestia fancies Twilight as well... especially after Twilight brought Luna back to her (side note: I do wonder if Celestia is still capable of using the elements of harmony all by herself... and would it have just sent Luna back to the moon for another thousand years, or have a different effect this time?)

Considering that she's never appeared to have a romantic interest in any of the time periods shown thus far, she probably doesn't fall in love very often. Not surprising, since it comes to a tragic end all too soon. But that means she's probably very lonely, and I can't think of any pony shown thus far who's even close to level of chemistry she and Twilight have together, aside from Luna. And even Luna appears to be jealous of how close they are.

Thanks for the link  Most of the posts there pretty much agree with my thoughts... that the princesses have probably loved before, but not very often due to the lifespan issue.

 

With regards to Twilight, it is possible she initially had a crush on Celestia and grew out of it, but considering how intense her emotions regarding Celestia still are, I'd bet if she ever crushed, it's still going on. But if not, there's still the possibility of future development, especially if Celestia makes any kind of move... probably just confiding in Twilight more with personal troubles. Something to show Twilight how important she is, and that she never has to panic about Celestia rejecting her.

 

And yeah, upon further pondering, it's possible that Celestia "used up" the old Elements to imprison Luna, since they were turned to stone.. that is, she never could use them on her own the way that a balanced group of friends can. The mane 6 using them on Luna definitely did transfer ownership, since Celestia and Luna losing their link with them is what weakened the seal on Discord.

 

I'd bet Celestia had planned on using Twilight to free Luna right from the moment she found her. That was probably the most significant experience for Celestia in 1000 years, getting back the one pony who won't die on her... which puts Twilight pretty high up her list of most loved ponies.

 

But there's also the issue that Twilight chose to stay in Ponyville afterward. Celestia would probably never pursue her romantically unless she comes back to Canterlot eventually. Which is something I hope they do on the actual show, since it would keep things fresh, and Rarity has always wanted to live there, and Rainbow wants to join the wonderbolts who (I think) live there (or possibly in Cloudsdale), and Fluttershy could live in the castle garden. Applejack is a problem, though. I don't think she's ever leaving that farm. And Shining Armor may have moved to the Crystal Empire, which sort of ruins the possibility of ever having the whole gang together

not at all. i have my share of hot chick friends, so i dont have any issues with pretty girls. but since you asked, i survived high school and had little interest in people while i was there. i was more interested in music and skating then dealing with people, so i never mixed it up with alot of the girls in my high school.. just the nature of someone whos introverted. i was shy, spent alot of time with my headphones on and my focus on my school work. only in the last half a decade have i starting getting more interested in relationships, but im in no hurry. i like being single and the freedom it offers. 

 

if i had any issues with hot girls, i would have blown a head gasket over one speaking against my options and demanded you take your comments down, but i didnt. i welcome them and enjoy reading what others think. peace?

Well honestly....When Fluttershy doesnt get her way and she's determined to get it...She does go a little overboard. ( The Best Night Ever). I can see her having a serious serious infatuation with a colt, getting rejected, and stalking him for quite a long time. Passing him on the street a year later.

I doubt that Celestia has any romantic feelings for Twilight  simply due to the fact she's a lot older and has a lot more on her mind than a student having a crush on her. She definitely would know about Twilight's interest but I doubt she would do anything about it as she would know Twilight would grow out of it.

 

Now as for Luna I could certainly see her being jealous of their relationship, especially after Nightmare Night and how Twilight was the only one that made a real effort for her so there might be some feelings there.

I've actually wanted to make a topic like this, but was too shy.

That being said, I don't think that there is a stork that makes babies within the series, and I wanted to make a topic like this almost solely to say that Pinkie Pie is somehow the Mane 6 character to most likely to have gotten laid before the series started.

 

None of the other Mane 6 have gotten to the base of kissing, and that would probably just be Applejack.

 

A few minutes later... I'd just like to add that I had this thought after seeing The Cutie Mark Chronicles and seeing Pinkie's Amish/Mennonite-like upbringing. Still stand by it for some reason. Maybe it's a sudden radical change in  lifestyle/personality thing or I dunno.

I'd guess it varies: she does fulfill several of the lesbian stereotypes. Add to that that there is not a lot of male shipping material on the show and voila. In the end I think it's just as valid to have her be hetero-, homo- or bisexual in your head-canon.

Also, she fulfills her role as the Element of Loyalty by standing to her friends, it don't see how it would prohibit her having casual sex, with partner who's fully aware of the nature of their relationship.

I'd imagine AJ went through all the sitcom stuff: walking ten miles to sing songs to your crush's window, romantic picnic, Big Mac battering the everliving crap out of the first boy who broke her heart and probably at some point some romance after seeking shelter from the rain in the haybarn. Verdict: heterosexual, not a virgin I'll gladly discuss any of this with anyone capable of keeping it civil.

 

 

Twilight: Eh not really probably had one or two crushes  but nothing major as she was dedicated to her studies and magic (remember in episode one she absolutely did not want to make friends ((much less a stallion)) )

Fluttershy: Not much to talk about as I doubt she ever approach a 'potential partner.

1. Pinkie Pie was with a few stallions, or` even mares for the heck of it just to have a good time and 'experiment' with dating

Well, this thread is certainly interesting. My thoughts on this are pretty basic, boring, and predictably clean.

 

Twilight Sparkle: Hetero virgin. Simply put, before she met her friends she was socially awkward and nerdy, so she'd have a lot of trouble even talking to a guy, and she'd be too worried about "messing up" or getting turned down. She loves reading and learning, and since that is her priority, she hasn't had time to get into a relationship. She's probably had crushes. She fell for Flash Sentry pretty easily.

 

Rarity: Hetero virgin. Rarity is the most likely to fall in love with a stallion and is the most likely to have had some dates, but she's still on the hunt for that special somepony, and I really doubt she would have gotten that far with any guy, despite being beautiful and being able to charm any stallion with relative ease. Rarity seems like the type who doesn't mind teasing guys, but when push comes to shove, she is a pony with standards, and would never "lose it" to just anypony unless he was the stallion of her dreams. Honestly, this applies to all of the Mane Six.

 

Pinkie Pie: Virgin. Pinkie Pie is very charismatic and has the whole town in love with her, but not in a romantic sense. As it stands, she's far too child-like and immature to concern herself with a relationship. As for sexuality, I wanna say hetero, since that's really all any of the characters could be in a kid's show, but seeing as Pinkie Pie loves life and all ponies, I don't think gender matters to her.

 

Fluttershy: Virgin. Fluttershy is the purest character in the show, and I find it incredibly difficult to see her as anything but a virgin. She's far too timid to start a relationship, and since she isolates herself from other ponies except for her friends, she hasn't had any opportunities to meet any nice stallions. It goes without saying that she's more interested in loving her animals than other ponies, so she may not change anytime soon. Sexual orientation is likely hetero.

 

Rainbow Dash: Virgin. I know fans love to make Rainbow Dash bisexual or lesbian, but I have a hard time seeing her be interested in anypony. Dash is very young in heart and mind. She's a tomboy because she acts quite boyish, and boys do not typically share much interest in romance. Rainbow is busy pursuing her dreams, so I don't know if she would have had much experience in dating simply because of that.

 

Applejack: Hetero virgin. Applejack is busy running her farm nearly 24/7. A workhorse like AJ knows that work, business, and family come first. There's simply no way she would have any time for dating. And while she is very charming and lovable, she probably wouldn't have an easy time attracting a guy like Rarity would, as she is known to be a bit messy, rude, and stubborn.

I just can't see Hasbro dealing with homosexuality in the show, to be honest.
