Vinyl Scratch (spartan) COMPLETED! 12/14/12

 I just started on this project, I'm doing my best to do a crossover between vinyl scratch and a Spartan II from halo 3.

 

To do this is had to HUMANIZE vinyl scratch, and detail her.

 

I'm posting this so you can see the steps I took to complete this.

i think its pretty good so far! its alot better than what i could do.i dont really play halo,and i dont know who spartan is,wbut still, good!

Looking good but I think I see more of a resemblance to the female character in the serious sam 3 game although it's probably a coincidence.

Looks good so far! I don't really play halo, but I do know what a spartan is and I honestly can't wait to see the finished drawing.

I finished the sketch. now I'm going to Ink it...with a sharpie because inking it by pen is too risky and to hard on my hand just to make he lines dark.

Now onto coloring it, the final STEP.

 

I'm soo glad I posted something like this, it was fun to show you the steps I done just to draw this.

That is awesome! the whole thing is extremely well done. The shading is near perfect. So yeah, you did a very very good job on this.

I was about to do the classic Halo fanboy thing and be like - "well where's the helmet?" *sigh* Sometimes common sense is lost on me :L 

 

Overall though really well done. Although the front chest plate looks more like the Marine armour from Halo CE, the backpack and shoulder plates have the distinctive features of a Spartan. Much better than anything I could do besides...

 

I'm not going to start getting into nitpicky details no matter how much that annoying fanboy side screams at me haha, seriously though well done. Can't wait to see any more you might be doing

lmfao! thanks for the comment, sadly this took me longer than I expected (about 4 hours in total) But I'm impressed by how it looks, I really pushed my drawing skills past its limitations

How'd you know that the Spartan laser was what I was going to add :I

sadly I couldn't because her "BASS CANNON" was too big to fit in the final drawing.

 

there'll be another time, and that time she will use her wubs of destruction!
