ActFast231 432 March 14, 2013 Share March 14, 2013 (edited) Hardest boss: Any Boss in late game of Borderlands 2. That game is friggen hard... Most rage inducing level: Crisis City 3D stage in Sonic Generations. Try S ranking that level. That means don't die, get lotsa rings, and don't die go fast. Why did I say that twice? Oh right because I died SO MUCH. I still have nightmares about it. Edited March 14, 2013 by ActFast231 1 I don't always discuss MLP, but when I do, I prefer MLP Forums. Stay chatty my friends. Display Name 448 March 16, 2013 Share March 16, 2013 (edited) Commander Brock, from Dead Rising. I swear that was so bucking difficult. He was probably one of the most difficult bosses i have ever encountered. But, he's now a bit easier since i'm Level.50. Reani 176 March 16, 2013 Share March 16, 2013 On my first run-through of Metal Gear Solid 3, I hated encountering the Sorrow. Of course, the level wasn't hard AT ALL, but I was so foolish that I completely forgot about the revival pill. I died and went through all those ghost, not so many anymore since I keep my casualties at a minimal, about 5 times before I figured out what to do. Now, I like the level because it shows me all 9, including the fallen Cobras, of the people I killed before that level. No matter how much you try.... you can never hit that f***ing dog from Duck Hunt.
Moon Rat 4,773 March 17, 2013 Author Share March 17, 2013 here's one... on Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time, during one of the fights in the Agorian Battleplex (The Art of Negotiation), the second round of that fight feels so cheap mostly because of a really annoying glitch that seems to make it to where you can't reach the shield of the enemies on the platforms... literally, I could be standing right on the edge of the arena and still not be able to reach the shield because the wrench seems to only go halfway before getting stopped by one of the bombs that the buck-head constantly shoots at you! it is really annoying to say the least :/ Thank you Nas for the sig :3 #HugWoona
Coffee Cream 74 March 17, 2013 Share March 17, 2013 My most annoying boss would probably be that DAMN BEETLE from Donkey Kong 64. You can find her in Angry Aztec and you must use Tiny Kong to race her. You have to collect 50 coins on top of winning the race. If you lose, you hear the most annoying laugh in the world...and I lost at least 30 times as a kid before finally beating it. Yes, I rage-quit. I threw my controller to the ground and shut off my N64 for a few days. THAT was how bad it was. This is it here: the race starts at 13:12 Now... picture hearing 14:10 over, and over, AND FREAKING OVER AGAIN!!! Sorry, i'm still raging to this day, even after I've beaten it.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eXkuqHJ5Hhc
Telegraph 115 March 17, 2013 Share March 17, 2013 (edited) Hm...I don't like hard things usually, so I dunno. I do know that I was super proud of the first time I ever beat Sigma in Mega Man X. That bastard would kick my ass. I went through all my health containers and am pretty sure I was really low on health when I finally won. There was some attack or another that I could NOT avoid for the life of me. Forget what, but I think it involved dashing and jumping to avid getting hit. Fun stuff. If you ever played The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall, you would know that already on the very first dungeon, it is incredibly easy to die. And pretty much right out of the gate, enemies can spawn near you that will kill you in one hit. Same goes for Fallout II (I never got very far in Fallout II because of this, heh... ^^; ) That second to last boss in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link used to be the bane of my existence. I finally beat that game in 2009 over a few days during the Summer when I wasn't working, and I was so happy. Levelwise, the mission that introduces banshees in Mass Effect III is a gigantic pain in the ass. Also, the second level in that game can be a real pain when you're picking it up for the first time and don't know the mechanics well yet. I kept on dying and dying and dying at this one part where the Cerberus agents would just overrun your party. Basteds! Also, I gave up on Bioshock II around the time that the spider splicers were introduced. That game kicked my ass. Dodie16 21 March 18, 2013 Share March 18, 2013 The challenges in Sly 3 made me want to rage quit so hard...and I did for like 5 months before going back. FINALLY completed them yesterday, and it feels good to get that game completely out of the way.
Rolls Royce 606 March 18, 2013 Share March 18, 2013 The boss that probably made me rage the most was Amorphous from Ocarina of Time. After going through one of the most stressful temples in the entire Zelda series, I have to go against this thing, which also seemed like the hardest boss I've gone against. The level that has made me rage the most was the Snowfall Temple in Majora's Mask. I fell so many times trying to jump those gaps, and I even spent a solid 5-10 minutes just trying to get into the building. 1 Signature credit to Gone AirbourneXbox Live - Sir Trollestia Steam - Sir_Trollestia Wii U - SirTrollestia
LeJAKoJAK 49 March 18, 2013 Share March 18, 2013 Riku, first and second time and Maleficent in her dragon form from Kingdom Hearts one. Riku for the first time made me quit for about a month, then Maleficent in dragon form made me quit for about two, and Riku for the second time made me rage quit for two+ years before I finally beat it. I could not beat him at all. I tried repeatedly, grinded my characters, tried to get the best equipment, but to no avail. Then the final time I tried, I beat him on the third try and finished the game within two hours. It was ridiculous. OC: Pinoak Stringhoof, Puppeteer and storyteller. OC: Phil Noir, Private Eye. Lostwanderer 367 March 18, 2013 Share March 18, 2013 American Mcgee's Alice madness returns, every level it has a habit of setting you up for a massive boss fight, and then taking it away last second, and then there is the final boss fight which was just disappointing in comparison to the massive build ups. BrainyBrony 252 June 5, 2013 Share June 5, 2013 The End from Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater. Flutter's lover <3 8,210 June 8, 2013 Share June 8, 2013 Elizabeth Green from [PROTOTPE] 1...fucking annoying....taking her out with other enemies constantly finding you (While you're hidden) and knocking you across the roof of the building....eventually beat her...then the final; boss in that game...I never beat because no matter what I die.I start off the fight with little health, and before I can "consume" an enemy for more health I'm already dead again.Final Boss in [PROTOTYPE 2] was hell a hard too...4 stages...usually it's the normal "3" nope...4 I've also had a hard time with a couple Borderland 2 bosses.....constantly dying.....but Play through 2 on TVHM all bosses were easy as hell... and more a glitch then anything.....but the ending of GTA IV the final mission where you have to go with Little Jacob in a boat and climb into a helicopter...on PC it glitches out and you're never able to get into the chopper. beating any of the CoDs on Veteran was hard.... then there was Crysis 2....playing on xbox. one boss couldn't get by, I lowered the difficulty and finally beat him, now I can't raise the difficulty...and now the game is too easy. Final Boss in Fallout NV if you allied with the NCR....also having his followers shooting at you, meanwhile you're almost out of ammo from fighting past Caesars legion troops. Sunny Fox 5,961 June 8, 2013 Share June 8, 2013 In Darksiders, there is a place where you have to run from platform to platform over soft sand while a gigantic worm monster slithers around, and if you time it even slightly incorrectly, the monster jumps out and eats you, resulting in an instant game over. And this happens when you are literally even one step away from getting to the goal, heart in your throat, whispering, "Please make it, please make it!" over and over. Whoever decided on that sequence is a right bastard. Happy minion of The Fabulous One!
