I think it's genuinely more funny than any of the adult cartoons that are currently putting out new episodes. I think it goes over-the-top with violence and stuff on occasion, but it's still better than Family Guy and American Dad where there is so much of it for no reason. South Park at least manages to be funny, and I like some of the parodies. Like the one of The Day After Tomorrow. lol

I particularly love it in that World Of Warcraft episode. I laughed really hard at that one when the developers of WOW (I think? been a while since I watched it) came to Randy's house to get this ultimate weapon on a flash drive to the kids so they could defeat the guy who was killing everybody in the game. You expect Randy Marsh to not care at all, but instread he's really serious about it like it's an issue of life and death. LOL. I love that humor!

Hey, I was about to mention that! =P I've always noticed those little hints at life lessons! XD

 

I used to watch it, not as regularly anymore though. I've watched everything up to season 12 or something like that. Stopped since then, decided it was too much. That and I don't really like having to wait to watch a new episode, I like watching them in bulk!

 

I like that IMDb has South Park under 'People who liked this also liked' when browsing on the FiM page!

I used to be a major South Park fan. I mean, for the most part, I still am. There are still episodes that make me laugh. Sometimes I guess I feel like it tries too hard. I also feel that it's just trying to be edgy as opposed to funny. Which, contrary to popular belief, are not mutually exclusive. I mean, I'll give them credit for generally being clever with the writing. Sometimes I find it annoying, though. I think it reminds me too much of people I've known who are really judgmental about people sometimes, which is why it turns me off. So it's really more of a personal reason, I guess. I still love the earlier seasons, though.
