At first I saw Twilight running around in the show being Twilight and I was like "Whatever." Back then I liked Rainbow Dash the most (still like her but Twilight takes the cake for now). But now, I see Twilight and hear the name and it makes me think of a cool breeze on an early summer night under the stars, my second most ideal scene (there is nopony who associates with the first) I relate to her constant search for knowledge, even in unsuspected places. Something about her is elegant, despite how simple she's sometimes made out to be; regal even before princesshood.
There are times when she seems very out of character though, as in No Second Prances. I don't like the idea of her being an ignorant German shower. But I guess we all have our moments. Still I love the Twilight Sparkle. She is -my- best pony.
