Anyway, I'll just share one of my Rarity opinions real quick, to keep this from becoming a *total* drool fest not that that's a bad thing

 

One of my favorite ships (friend or otherwise) is Rarixie, or Rarity X Trixie. 

 

 

In my headcanon, they actually got to be on friendly terms after the events of "Magic Duel" They'll go to the spa together sometimes, and Rarity will get frustrated with Trixie's boastfulness, but ultimately is trying to help her become a better mare and integrate a pony who seems arrogant as hell on the outside and helping her be more fabulous - I'm actually pondering writing a fanfic about these two, about just that - Rarity helping Trixie be more friendly to others, while Trixie is just really frustrating to Rarity but Rarity tries her best to remain patient Knowing me, it'll likely end up being a shipfic, because that's all I've ever had success in

 

Only time can tell, though. It's probably going to be one of my projects this summer

Besides Rarity, Trixie is probably my favorite pony. She's got talent and flair, and after Magic Duel, I think even some humility and good qualities.

 

Which leads me to say: I don't think she is a villain or even a rival; she's just mis-led.

Trixie has probably a very soft core under that shell, and i would have confidence that Rares, after some initial clashes, would do pretty well in unwrapping Lulamoons defence mechanisms, to get to the true pony that hides within.

 

Sounds like a nice story idea you have there.

Trixie is one of my favorite ponies as well She's got that "love her or hate her" reaction from the fandom, but I find her to be one of the most interesting characters in the whole show - I mean, she's appeared two times and has a lot of development. I hope she appears again in S5 - hopefully her and Rares can have some interactions.

 

Personally, I've always gotten a tsundere feel from Trixie, and I look at Rarixie fanart a lot That's what led to this idea, to be honest.
