Okay I went back and looked at what's happening. Busy weekend and wasn't on for any length of time, just on to vote. Wrote a paper this weekend for class and was busy working on my house.

Finally her dream became true.

 

Her work sold in one of the most fancy and fabulous botiques in Canterlot. Her big breakthrough! She could not believe it. After all that time...

 

It was worth it though.

She took the long and hard route. She could have just said: "Buck that! What can this little town in the middle of nowhere give me that Canterlot cannot? Recognition? Hardly!... Wealth? Never!... Friends?..."

That was it... She could never hope to find such amazing friends again, not in Canterlot, and not in any other place in Equestria.

 

She needed them... Spike, Twilight, Pinkie, Rainbow, Fluttershy... sweet Applejack... And they did too... She would never sacrifice them for her own gain, even if it meant that her dreams would have been just that... Dreams.

 

She had succeded though. It was hard, but she did it. Against all odds.

She sacrificed much to stay true to herself and her friends, and it was never easy... But the easy way would have been too costly.

 

Raritys lips escaped one last sigh. She turned away from the shop window. She had a train to catch.

 

The train to Ponyville. HER Ponyville. The Ponyville she loved.

 

Hot tears streamed down her cheeks, taking her before flawlessly drawn maskara with them.

 

They where tears of joy.

As soon as I read that little brick of text, I knew exactly what picture was in the spoiler Definitely one of my favorite Rarity works I've come across - but I'd like to commend you on such a nice little brick of text to go with that picture

 

It was very pretty and well-written, especially so for a non-native English speaker like yourself I couldn't help but smile as my eyes scanned the words on the screen...very nice

Oh, that reminds me, gotta follow through with the strategy before the match tonight - I got a bit cocky and didn't waste the effort on an enemy like Sunset Shimmer, because that was going to be a stranglehold no matter what.

Hm. Thanks I hope a lot of Rarity fans show up in support, though - hasn't been that way for her last couple of matches. I admit there was little need because they were total blowouts, but Derpy is a tougher opponent than Spitfire and Sunset Shimmer combined. 

 

I'd like to see Rares drive it home for the win, though - I remember last time in the MM Tourney, someone decided to do things to get us to stay out of the tourney, like posting pictures of Rarity as a Nazi and the like. He also posted some less than favorable pictures of her in this fan club once, as well I like how people in the World Cup are really just shutting that nonsense down before it spreads, though - I remember someone bashed on Trixie during her round, and 4 people quoted them telling them it wasn't cool, and I know for a fact 2 of them were rooting for her opponent, Sweetie Belle Lot more harmonious and friendly than the last tourney, which is definitely a welcome change
