You know who was awesome in Sonic Rainboom? Fscking Fluttershy. That's who I watch in that episode. Yeah, it was a bad episode for Rarity and do I think they went in deep on her usual faults to the point where they were out of character? Yeah.

 

But the best part of this episode is Flutter-yay and Fluttershy being a bitch. "She's practiced that move 100 times and she's never even come close to doing it." and "Just because you've failed the sonic rainboom a HUNDRED THOUSAND times in practice doesn't mean you won't be able to do it in front of an ENTIRE STADIUM full of impatient SUPER CRITICAL sports-fan ponies!"

 

I'm not sure if she was trying to be earnest or if she was just being a bitch here.

 

And apparently I should go join the Fluttershy FC now.

Before I started watching MLP:FIM I had already chosen the name Opalina for my daughter. I did a double take the first time I heard Rarity speak to Opalescence, because I believe she actually called her Opal.

Dunno if it's been brought up yet, but Rarity's Rainbow Power form, what did y'all think of it?

Personally, I think it's weird, and a bit much...but it's an interesting temporary form at least, probably my favorite of all the Rainbow Power forms which I think are all weird anyway.

STOP READING MY MIND. I was just thinking about this! I think Rarity is the only one in the superduper rainbow form(as opposed to the more pulled back ones in the site banner)that looks good. Everyone saying Twilight looks best I'm like... her hair still looks like it needs a brush, now its just LONG and ratty looking (Not being down on Twily just to be clear her hair always looks messy to me)

I was just composing an anthro Rainbow Power Rarity in my head while thinking about this. I think the long hair just looks awkward on the pony bodies like they'd trip on their own manes. 

(which is why Rarity's works, it's curled!)

The reason the rainbow style works in this pictures is because her hair actually looks natural. In the show it just looked like someone slapped some extensions made of cutout cardboard on her head and tail.

 

It had some kind of "Lol, just copy, paste and resize her mane and tail" vibe to it.

I'm heavily debating going to Nightmare Nights in Dallas, which is around an hour away from me. Problem is, I'm just a kid who doesn't have a car of his own who lives with his grandmother who is in her mid-70s. Getting down there and back is the only problem. True, the fan art of her really fixed the stiffness of the look. The show's artists could take some notes. I did like the two tails, and her blue "airbrush" hooves/horn.

Actually, I think SolarFox is the oldest person who drops by here regularly, at 32. He's not as active as others, though

Then CStriker and Andaasonson are both 29, Obsidian is 26, Midnight Hour is 24, Rarity Page Belle is 25 (I think?), Radiance is 22, I think Motion Spark is 23, hawkflame is 31 (I think?) Asterian is 16, and here I am, 17  

EDIT: MultiFacetedBrony, one of our newer members, is 35, I think So there's that.
