I am a HUGE fan of Drum and Bass music! It's just plain awesome for me! mlp-rcrazy.png

My favorite DNB artist is without a doubt Culture Shock! These two songs are the best things I ever heard in my life:

Who are your favorite DNB artists?

Also, does anyone know of any Brony musicians who specialize in DNB? It'd combine my two favorite things in the world... mlp-dawesome.png

I think a better question is who doesn't love DnB?

I've fallen in love with it ever since I got introduced into Electronic music through Dubstep. Though, I don't go looking like I should. But I do that too all of my genres.

I don't know many artists or songs at all for that matter as I just kinda listen to any I find, but never add to my Ipod, but I've got two favorite songs from my tiny tiny tiny playlist of it.

As for a brony artist that specializes in it, I've not found one that does just that. Ive seen a few who do it, but not as their main thing.

I don't listen to much DnB, but my favorite would probably be Black Sun Empire.

And this would probably be my favorite track:

Noisestorm has some good stuff, too:

I'm a Pendulum and The Prodigy style DnB fan myself. (Don't hate me D:)

For some reason, a lot of people don't consider Pendulum to be true DnB.  I can kinda' see it, but I still call them DnB.  I come from a rocker family (not Death Metal and the like, just plain ole Rock.), so I enjoy them a little more than other DnB artists.  I'd like to say I like Noisa as well, but I haven't heard of a lot of their songs.

Pendulum and The Prodigy are DnB/Rock music crossovers

So yeah I guess it is understandable as towards why someone would say that

We can't give hate to you for liking The Prodigy

Since they've been around since when the dance scene was starting to kick up

Though there are quite a few people who seem to hate Pendulum

Which to me is understandable since it's not everyone's style

And Rob Swire isn't the vocalist that everyone can appreciate neither

I find Rob Swire to have a much more appealing voice than Nicki Minaj or Katy Perry.  I was watching Perry live one night (god knows why) and it was painful.  I listen to my fair share of Dark DnB on di.fm, and it's quite appealling.  Maybe I'll enter into the more traditional DnB scene one of these days.

The only real complaint that I have with all DnB is the drumming style; it's always the same pattern (Bum-tss, bu-tss).  As much as I love the style in general, it's something that kinda' pokes me at the back of my mind.

I have to agree with you the drumming style can be a bit of a bother sometimes

The only type of DnB that I hate is Liquid DnB, I honestly just don't like the style of it

Tradition DnB is good, but if you ask me it's not as good as the more rocker type bands

And I as well kind of like Rob's vocals, not as much as other vocalists

But I do think that they sound good With the type of DnB that Pendulum is

They blend in quite nicely

I haven't listend to a lot of rob swire, mainly ghost n stuff, but I will definitely agree that he has a way better voice than either of those two

Soooo....anyone else here think that the older Drum 'n' Bass music is better

If I were to say who my favorite DnB artist is, it would have to be Squarepusher

I just love the glitchy sound of his music, and the hint of Jazz that he has in some of his songs

He's also one of the only producers I know of, who plays actual live guitar

And he even does improvisations quite well

Though none of these songs were any improvisations that he did:

I don't know my musical genres too well, but I've liked what I've heard of DnB. It's nice and punchy. I haven't seen any particular brony drum and bass artists, but I have found a brony who made an hour long Pinkie-themed DnB compilation:

I listen to Electronic music in general, though I love Nightcore'd stuff and Trance the most. This is a song that says it's Drum'n'Bass but I don't know if it actually is (most electronic sub-genres I don't know how to identify lol)

Yep Pendulum are a Drum n Bass band

Though many people like to say that they're not

But most of the people who have told me that

Listen to Liquid DnB, so yeah I guess it'w what style

You're used to, but anyways

Nice choice of song, Blood Sugar is one of my personal favorites

I love Drum N' Bass! My favorite DNB artist is Pendulum (they are too DNB, shut up), but I'm also a big fan of Big Chocolate and Nero's  (neither are strictly DNB) stuff. Prodigy is pretty dang good too!

Somewhat. I haven't listened to a DnB song in years. Most I the DnB I DID listen to was on Newgrounds, so I've never really heard a DnB song by an actual DnB artist.
