My little dashie VS Pokemon mystery dungeon

so , today i just finished read my little dashie story from internet , and i just thinking if it compare with Pokemon Mystery Dungeon , which the best story ? Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or My little dashie ? 

 

I need your feedback , so i can have the answer !

 

If you don't know what's Pokemon Mystery Dungeon ? so i just suggest to leave. OR ... if you intrested , you can watch Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Ending , or just search in wikipedia.

( i already played Pokemon Mystery Dungeon before , so, i think Pokemon Mystery Dungeon is the best sad story +the best   sad soundtrack )

You cant really compare them one is a fan fic about ponies and humans, The other is a game with animation and sound about.. well pokemon.

The ending of Pokemon Mystery Dungeons 2 is very sad, it's true. I cried when I finished it the first time, years ago. I think it's the music that does it. For a game that gives you a cutesy first impression, PMD has a surprisingly dark theme. 

 

Although I'm not really sure whether it's fair to compare a full-blown video game with a fanfic.

PMD by a long shot. My Little Dashie was sad, but in my case, somewhat expected. It got to me, but not enough to make me cry.

PMD Red/Blue Rescue Team were sad, but not as bad as Time/Darkness/Sky.

 

I've played through Time, and on my 3rd playthrough of Sky, and it still makes me cry. I never thought a Pokemon game would make you so emotional...

An absolutely fantastic tale of sacrifice, betrayal, devoted partnership and courage, vs a tale of friendship... and a pony going home.

 

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon one-ups My Little Dashie in absolutely every aspect. Honestly. The two aren't even fairly matched for comparisons.

There is quite a bit more to it then that to be fair but considering mld was written by 1 person on the internet and pokemon was written created and edited and tweaked and programmed for months by a small army of people trained to create a compelling game. I dont think compaireing the 2 of them is fair in the slightest and kinda makes this thread redundant.

I still don't think there's much more to MLD than that. It's about fifteen minutes reading time total, that's nowhere near long enough to be able to feel any bond that they might have. A guy meets a pony, they become great friends, then there's a sad part where the pony goes home and the guy is now much better off. Is there really any more to it?

15 minuets there is your problem as far as I can tell you haven't read it properly If you are like me (lazy) listen to the dramatic readings on youtube. Anyway The protagonist finds rd when shes a filly and she has no memory of Equestria so he raises her as his own daughter for 15 years and they do all sorts of things together and everything is great then the rest of the mane 6 appear and take her away. So considering he gave up everything for her when she leaves he is left with nothing but a photo album of memorys so yea.

I watched the Rainbow Dash presents version....uh...no, they don't compare.  Rainbow Dash isn't sent into the human world as a human, where the opposite happens in the Mystery Dungeon series....and the game doesn't really mesh well with the fanfic of our little pony...

You seem to be missing the point Pokemon army of people with lots of money took about a year to make. MLD made by 1 person so its not fair to even compare them Its like If I made a go-cart out of wood and powered it with a lawnmower engine and then someone tried to compare it with a Rolls Royce. I dont understand what you mean by what other emotional values can be harvested? MLD had all you need friendship, love, joy, hard-ship, fear, sadness and loss. Again 1 unsigned author vs The enormous pile of money that is Nintendo's development team.

I like the overall story for PMD, but MLD is a bit more emotional in some aspects, its very close actually for me though.

I guess thats true in a way, however in MLD its a creature going to the human world, and in PMD its a human becoming a pokemon and going to the pokemon world.

 

The only problem I have comparing them is that one has alot more work put into it by a whole team of people, and one is a one man job.

so then ..... if you compare PMD and MLD , MLD is created by one man and have many fans about it , and PMD is made by thousand people and have many fans about it , so MLD will win in the effort , i guess .
