I wouldn't be surprised at all if the ratio was higher in favor of bronies vs the shows target. With the rate of expansion among bronies and growth of the community, I'm sure they were outnumbered a long ago.

i did a poll a while back before i came interested in the show.

I did a high school, 2 middle schools, 3 elementary, a group of adults, and a preschool.

i got ~1.33:1

The page 12 of the PDF (2014) has a chart with the age distribution, then there is another for the gender (but there is not a separate correlation between "14 or older" and "13 or younger AND female").
