How do you get ready for a MLP: FiM episode?

I wake up a couple hours before the show starts, enter into HaxMega's stream, and moderate the chat. I also find a snack, and grab a coffee, or a dr pepper. And then HaxMega plays the Hardware Store PMV. It's the usual Saturday morning for me.

Various things, make sure the room is empty, open more than one tab, and when someone walks in the room, switch the tab, an easier explanation would be to tell your dad you where looking at porn, XD LOL I usually watch it in the afternoon, evening, or the next day. Edited by Samthelegoman

I wasn't aware we needed to get ready to watch an episode...

I set the new episode to record on the DVR, since we actually get The Hub for some bizarre reason. I watch it in the morning, right after I get up...in the past this was to avoid my parents seeing.

However now that I can go to biweekly screenings of new episodes--I was going to go today but the weather made that impossible--and now that my mom at least enjoys watching ponies when they're on, my pattern of behavior has changed. I'm still not sure how to go about it, but probably on nonscreening weeks I'll still watch the new episode on the morning, and on screening weeks I'll wait to see the episode in all its glory on the 92" screen with a wonderous sound system, surrounded by about twenty other people.

I saw The Last Roundup for the first time this way, without having encountered a single spoiler prior to watching. Made for quite the experience, lemme tell ya.

Porn is easier to explain than ponies.

Yeah...set the alarm for 9:30, get a bowl of cereal, make sure the A/C is on 60 degrees, get 4 blankets, 3 or 4 pillows, set up my bed, enjoy the show on my plasma screen.

1. I do this when I get on the forums, too :P

Get on laptop. Put laptop on lap, turn left 90* so I'm facing my bedroom door, so when someone walks in they don't see the screen. My desk becomes my armrest+mousepad combo.

2. I only do this bit for MLP episodes:

Open youtube, open private browsing and search the latest. I think from now on I'll be able to get the link from the #Bronies group on DeviantArt, though.

My fingers usually hover over the "esc" and "alt-f4" combo like an abort switch if I were going in for an extremely dangerous landing XD.

I really don't know why I'm so secretive about it. I know nobody would mind that much. I guess I just don't want to lose even more respect, and have my parents looking at me weird like I got some kind of problem, lol.

They'd give me the "Intervention" look, like from "How I met your mother" :P

"Matthew... Why are you watching My Little Pony? O.o "

lol.
