The Lego Movie, because everything is awesome!!!! :P

Was it good?  I was thinking about watching it. :)

Mine was Captain America: Winter Soldier.  It was the best Marvel movie I've seen, story-wise, in a long while.  :)

I saw this move Crash recently. It's a drama-ish film about these people who all have to experience some bad stuff in their lives and they are all connected to each other in some way or another. The movie focuses on racism and similar stuff and it is supposed to be a super sad film. It has a pretty high imdb rating and many people seem to like it.

To be honest though, I didn't really care for this movie at all and the characters annoyed me a little. I thought it was boring and not really that sad at all, however the film picked up towards the end and entertained me a little bit at least. But mostly, this film was just another "throw in some black people having a hard time with racist dumbfucks to make people cry"-film. It's not that I don't like drama films or sad films, I watch a lot of those as well. I just... nah.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

It was a real disappointment. The human characters were uninteresting, contrary to it's predecessor. The emotional fluff and battle scenes felt mostly tacked-on and forced, which sort of dipped part of the immersion I had in the film. The plot was very predictable and cliched, drawing heavy emphasis on the ape's power struggles rather than their interaction with the humans.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend it

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

This is how you make a sequel.  You take what the predessor accomplished, and make every aspect better.  There were times in the movie where I a little worried with the story because I thought it would take the "Avatar" approach by becoming cliche and pointless, but luckily it took a much smarter approach.  The best asepect of the film are all the apes themselves, espeacialy Ceaser, Koba, and Blue Eyes.  The apes in this movie are not just animals or CGI creations, they are characters with emotion and their motivations for what they do is understandable, even if I didn't agree with their vision.  The human element is definitely weaker, but they service the story very well and never come off as just there.  I don't see this as a flaw because this rebooted series is mostly about Ceaser and the apes, and that aspect is handled excellently.  And that's not to say the human character themselves were boring, each major character had their own motivation and were characters with emotion, just as their ape counterparts.

The rebooted Planet of the Apes series is probably my favorite on-going series in the whole films industry now.  It's hard to believe it had been 31 years before getting a Apes movie considering the downfall of the original series and the utter disappointment that was Tim Burton's reboot.  But with these last two stellar films, I cannot wait to see what future lies ahead for the Planet of the Apes franchise.

That's a good one! I love Ghibli movies.

Last movie I saw was Chronicle. It was an interesting concept but I don't really like how it ended. I'd give it a 6/10 because while it was entertaining, it wasn't particularly memorable to me and had no emotional impact on me whatsoever. (Though I did hear some girls behind me crying)

saw howls moving castle too XD the bok is so good too. it made me watching it the secound time (i admit) fangirled a bit

The Godfather - 10/10

The Godfather: Part II - 10/10

The Godfather: Part III - 7/10

Overall - 9/10

The first two films are terrific, but while the third film is good it is overall a disappointing final installment to the story of Michael Corleone.  I like the first movie the best because of Marlon Brando's legendary performance as Vito Corleone.  I think Robert DiNero was also fantastic as Vito, and his story in the second film were my favorite segments.  Though that's not to downplay Al Pacino's performance as Michael at all because he is fantastic in all three films.  I just like Vito better as a person than Michael so I was more interested in his story much more.

If I had a choice to buy just the first two films or a trilogy set, I'd buy the trilogy set.  Although I see myself rewatching the first two films much more often than the third.

Die Another Day

IT'S HORRIBLE!!! It's an absolute disgrace to the James Bond series! The story feels half-thrown together, the action scenes are stupid, the overused CGI effects look disgraceful, the gadgets are ridiculous (Invisible cars?! WTF?!) and the main-title song by Madonna is ear-rape!

1/10

It's worse than A View to a Kill and The Man with the Golden Gun
