Barbie in A Christmas Carol (2008) This is one of my holiday season Barbies, along with Magic of Pegasus, Perfect Christmas and Nutcracker. All the Barbie movies are great, but these are reserved for holiday viewing only, so they're extra special.

Better Watch Out (2017). A fun pitch black comedy thriller, if you want to call it comedy at all. It's dark, entertaining and pretty fun. And it has an interesting bad guy that I'd never suspect.

Yay! One of my all-time favorites! I'll be watching this next week and I can't wait. :fabulous:

As for me, here's the latest:

Klaus (2019). A really fun (and funny) animated Christmas movie with its own take on the origins of Santa and some of the traditions associated with the big guy.

Unaccompanied Minors (2006). Great kids adventure movie about a group of unaccompanied minors on the loose in a snowed-in airport at Christmas. Fun from end to end.

Pinocchio (2022) - Guillermo Del Toro made the best Pinocchio movie of the year (low bar, I know). Breathtakingly animated, emotional, and a unique take on a familiar story. 10 out of 10.

Watching the original Star Wars now when I have watched all the…. Newer crap (excuse me). It is very difficult to adjust to all the new 3D stuff when the old was just absolutely perfect (without 3D, ignoring 1997 special edition and Anakin pasted in there in 2005ish)

Dug out a couple of old faves.....

Heroes Of Telemark (1965)

Tron (1982). Daft but fun. Visually that was mind-blowing back in '82 – a friend rented it and we went around to watch..... it's a thing we did most Saturday evenings ...

Avatar: The Way of Water - My god, James Cameron does it again! The story is simple and my god did I feel that 3 hour runtime by the end. But this is still a visually stunning and immersive epic. Spectacular action sequences, amazing visuals, and a lot of solid worldbuilding. 8.5 out of 10.
