OK guys, I'm going to go on a small hiatus. Keeping up is hard work.

Yo, AtDawnTheySquee, don't use the username I had yesterday, just use my regular username (Champion RD92).

I mean on the list that you made, obviously.

I am using your regular username.

Chill? I don't think so!

Yes dude, please chill for a little.

You're using both of them, just use Champion RD92 -____-

Look at the first one you put up for me.

Also, I wanna nominate "Waking the Fallen" by Avenged Sevenfold, I like that album a lot, it's one of my favorites.

Next pick: "Songs for the Deaf" by Queens of the Stone Age. An absolute masterpiece of modern stoner rock and alternative rock (though I don't throw the latter term around too much).

I've got a story that money just can't buy.

Since everyone else is throwing Metal albums out onto the list, I might as well nominate Jane Doe by Converge. It's definitely better than all of those silly Metallica albums.

Oh, you can nominate multiple albums? Then I'll go ahead and additionally nominate Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace, which is a fire Foo Fighters album. Gotta love the Foos.

I know a couple songs of that album, they are pretty good. They seem like a really great band from what I've heard.

I have a second nomination. Automatic for the People by REM. It is another solid album that I think deserves recognition.

Haha beat you to it Circadian.

Gorillaz, "Demon Days"...

Third favorite album right there, but since someone already took my first pick this will have to do. Yeah, not too shabby I hope?

Ima nominate "Asylum" by Disturbed, great album, so many amazing songs on it, and the artwork for it is awesome :3

I'll try to think of a non-metal band for my next album :P

I love Disturbed, but Asylum isn't their best in my opinion. It has some pretty cool songs like "Asylum" and "The Infection" though.

*cough* Ten Thousand Fists is the best *cough*

Asylum is best, hence Asylum album artwork tattoo :P

Ten thousand fists comes in second, the only reason I rate asylum higher is because I love all Disturbed songs equally bar a select few(Down with the sickness, 10k fists, stricken etc.), and those few are mainly found on the Asylum album, Animal, Warrior, Asylum, Another Way to Die, The Infection.

Hey guys, I'm on my phone at the moment. I can't use the computer right now but I'll update the list as soon as I can.

I'm going to nominate Scream Blood Gore by Death, it's my favorite metal album of the 80's.

Alright then this will be the final album that I shall nominate, Music Has The Right To Children by Boards of Canada. Since BoC are making a return this year, I figured that it would be appropriate to nominate my favorite albums by them onto here.

I nominate "Nighthawks at the Diner" by Tom Waits.

One of my all-time favorite albums, perfect for drinking alone. I'm so glad to own this album on vinyl.

Eh? Nandatte?

Glad to see that this thread is still active. Anyway, my next pick would be "Appetite for Destruction" by Guns N' Roses... nothing else needs to be said...

I'll be back later to nominate the "Use Your Illusion" albums

Addictia's Diversity EP. Gotta recommend it. The guy put a lot into it, and it hasn't seen much attention past a thousand views :c

I'm sorry but I couldn't find that album on Rate Your Music's database. I know, it's a bit of a downer but don't worry you can always pick something else.

You sure do have an appetite for hard rock xD. (Lame joke is lame)

So here's the list so far, http://rateyourmusic.com/list/DirtyRottenPegasus/mlp_forums_greatest_albums_of_all_time/

While I'm here I'm going to nominate Blood Fire Death by Bathory because I love that album to death.

Woah woah woah woah woah. Just looked at the list. Dark Side of the Moon was released by Pink Floyd back in 1973, not in 1994. Still a nice list of albums though.

Your joke wasn't THAT lame (I've heard MUCH lamer). I've noticed that rock and metal are pretty much dominating this list. Anyway, I'm surprised no one hasn't nominated any Beatles albums. Guess I'll nominate my favorite, Abbey Road.

He probably added a re-release of the album instead of the original. And yeah I'd say we've got a nice list of albums there. Pink Floyd, Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada, Converge, Carcass, Daft Punk and so on.

It was rereleased on CD in 1994, I know because I have it and it says so.

I thought it was really lame.

So anyways I'm going to nominate Nevermind by Nirvana, because I luvz this album (and I wanted to have a nomination that wasn't black metal or death metal.)

Ooooh why the hell not? Might as well request one more album to be put onto the list. Loveless by My Bloody Valentine, because that album is such a beautiful classic.

Oh dude, why didn't I think of that one? (Kicking myself)

I'm going to add Daydream Nation by Sonic Youth, easily one of my all time favorite albums of the 80's.
