Clopping is my least favorite part of the MLP culture. It's gross. They are horses. In reality, they would look like actual horses. Think about it. If you want to watch and hear horses breeding, look it up on YouTube. Being intimate with horses is beastiality and I cannot express enough how much this is just.. Sad. I'm sorry but I really don't like this

I have yet to meet a Clopper who wants to run out into a field and screw a horse.

 

Now, time to address the 'unnatural' part. Is it unnatural to pleasure yourself to a cartoon? While it is no doubt an out of the ordinary fetish, it's not all that unnatural.

By the way, for those of you who don't know, Steven Pinker is a professor of psychology and the director of the center for Cognitive neuroscience at the Massachusetts institute of technology. The guy knows what he's talking about.

 

 

His words basically debunk the notion of 'Clop' (Or even cartoon porn in general) being unnatural. Personality may also feed my point. Most of the characters on MLP are females capable of rational thinking. They have their own personalities, and some may find themselves attracted to these particular personalities. I do not believe attraction to MLP characters to be purely a physical attraction. People who are attracted to these characters see elements of humanity in them; elements of humanity that they happen to find appealing.

 

 

In this regard, I find it insultingly offensive for people to judge others for clopping. Human beings simply cannot choose who/what they are attracted to. It is hardwired into our biological coding. Shunning people for being attracted to 'Clop' material in my eyes is no different from Shunning gays.

Outcasting others for what they cannot control is idiotic, and frankly barbaric."

I wouldn't consider myself a clopper, but I will admit that I've had the occasional clop in the past, although I ticked yes when I meant no on the last one I think.

 

I'm fine if anyone is into clops, I have two friends on Skype into that. But for me the hoofs, coats and tails started turning me off, because I started to think some of those things might be like a real horse. Not that I thought of it that way when I had my occasional clop, but when I did start to imagine they might be like horses it just made me feel a bit grossed out

Clopping doesn't do it for me. I have never clopped over any clop pictures, especially the ones I draw (I am guilty ).

Clopping over your own drawings seems wrong, its like clopping over your own child.

I treat my drawings as if they were my children... that's until I end up having children.

Have I ever clopped? Yes. At first, I was just seeing just how MLP r34 is probably more popular than any other r34, but I got carried away.

 

More than once? Yes, but mostly to the same images.

 

Do I consider myself a clopper? No. My personal definition of a clopper is someone who doesn't feel like there's something wrong with them for masturbating to MLP. Don't get me wrong, I'm somewhat fine if people clop, but I don't want to be considered a clopper. I don't even do it often, and even when I do, it's always to the same images.

Yes, there is porn for women out there. But honestly, the VAST majority of pornography is for men. Denying that is naive. Heck, how many women on here are posting that they clop to ponies? Why is it that the smut with Big Macintosh and Shining Armor isn't out there with the rest of the art? When I go on Tumblr to do a MLP search, there is porn everywhere. But only of the female characters. If clop art exists for Big Mac, you probably have to seek it out.

 

I really do wonder how many female bronies clop. That would be an interesting statistic to find out.

 

Anyways, women sexually objectifying men is just as wrong as men sexually objectifying women. But let's be honest here, which do you think happens far more often, and has happened more often for an extremely long time? Not saying that it can't happen to men, and it is wrong when it does happen, and women doing it to men does not make things any better. But the point still stands.

 

When I said that pornography makes you in control of your sexual turn-ons and therefore makes you unable to love a real woman quite as much, I did mean that in a subconscious level. Of course people don't just start acting like jerks when they fap to inflated boobs, at least not on purpose. But pornography does raise unreasonable expectations on women, because pornographic women are in no way realistic. Not entirely sure what that means when you have been clopping to ponies, since ponies are probably far enough from reality that you know that you can't actually expect a real woman to be purple. But I wonder if your libido knows that. Evolution is slow, you know. My point is, for those of you who do want to get married, start a family, and try not to become a divorce statistic - do you think that clopping to ponies before making love to your wife would be problematic? I ask because real pornography has the power to destroy families. I know of a man who started looking at pornography, and several months down the road he became addicted and cheated on his wife. They got divorced. This doesn't happen to everyone who watches porn, but stuff like that does happen.

 

I ask about Lauren Faust not because I think that she is always right, but because she is a feminist, and I am uncertain about how she feels about her characters who are supposed to be loved for their personalities and their friendships, being simply another thing that turns you on. I mean it isn't all bad to be sexually attracted to ponies, I will admit that. At least part of that is natural to the extent that it is natural to be attracted to what is beautiful. And the ponies are pretty dang beautiful. But for them to be stripped down to being a sexual object is what is bothersome to me, and using the characters for your own desires. They are fictitious, so it isn't about hurting them. But I wonder if that would accustom someone to get used to using people rather that appreciating them.

 

As for sexual tension and releasing it? There are other ways to release sexual tension. Exercise is a good, healthy one that doesn't objectify anyone. And people who don't have sexual partners don't need to fap. Know how many Catholic priests there are in the world? They don't have wives, and they're not supposed to look at porn or do anything with their sexuality either. Don't bring up the pedophilia scandals - those were a small percentage of priests. Most priests do not do stuff like that. Unmarried Christians have ways to avoid masturbation. It is hard, but not impossible.

 

I think that that was all that I wanted to address. I don't mean to start a flame war. But I really wanted to get an opinion out there that didn't keep saying, "I don't have a problem with it!" Because I do have a problem with it. I don't actively hate cloppers, in fact I will probably forget about all of you who said yes and treat you like everyone else on these forums. Treating cloppers worse than non-cloppers is stupid. You are all people and we have different opinions and life experiences. That doesn't make anyone better or worse than another.

I feel like that happens whenever I give my opinion on clopping. Doesn't make it right to start a potential flame war though. Yes I am clopper and I am not ashamed nor proud. It is just a harmless fetish as everything else. I really get mad, when people consider clopping (or any rule 34) as bestiality, they really dont know the difference. I consider these people myself as illiterate ignorants not worth to talk with.
