Finally, this came out pretty well!

This is official, I think I work much better by sketching on paper, then scan it, then recolor it.

Sketching on a tablet about the 1/3 the size of your monitor can be a little bit derpy...

Personal opinion. ^.^

I'm 43 years old, my friend. I've found in that time that there are certain people that have talent in the area of drawing-and I am not amongst them. Music is my thing, and I play a bunch of instruments-but have always admired people like yourself that can capture an image and make it theirs.

 

If you have progressed to the drawing you posted here in two months, you have a natural talent for it. No question.

Tru isn't it? The feeling of paper and the fact that what you're sketching appear right under your fingers feel much more natural.
