How much can you handle gross stuff?

As crazy as this sounds,it's all true.I can handle gross things very fine.You see,i can see disturbing imageries of hideous wounds and never end up puking,i have been in shock sites and never get affected and more recently,i have beaten my fear of dead animal corpses and can touch them and even move them as if they were puppets.Yeah,i am perhaps one of the creepiest bronies out here.But it's not my fault! I was born that way.Anyway,the main question is,are you capable of handling gross stuff?

i'm more then capable. i guess that's mainly because i grew up watching animals getting sliced to bits ( my best frieds dad was a butcher) so you are not alone my friend!

I certainly can! I have a titanium clad stomach so, nothing will make me puke. I visit shock sites whenever im bored and occasionally get a laugh out of them. Dead animals make me tear up a little but i don't get disgusted by it. I took a Police Forensics class where we looked at pictures of gruesome homicides, suicides, and police shootouts(the aftermath) and didnt even flinch.

 

Some might say I'm desensitized but, I say I can stomach it. Makings of a serial killer? Nope, I just have a strong constitution

Depends what the gross stuff is. I'm completely apathetic to any type of gore. A man could have half of his jaw torn off and I wouldn't be phased. I felt alone when everyone freaked out at the picture of the saw from Amnesia: The Dark Descent, and I didn't bat an eyelid. 

 

Deceased animals don't gross me out, but they do make me sad. I love all animals; it's more of a disheartening thing than a disgusting thing. My hamster died 3 years ago so I know how it feels. :c

 

In fact, now that I think about it, there are only two things that truly gross me out beyond anything. The first is Tiramisu. It's absolutely vile. Up until trying it last February, I hadn't puked for a long, long time. The other is larvae; specifically, the larvae of larger beetle breeds such as rhinoceros beetles, like this one.

Brrrr. I'd invest in a flamethrower if one of these ever appeared in my house or garden. Thankfully I live in the UK where the only rhinoceros beetles are in the insect cages of zoos.

 yeah the shitposting is still really bad there. They're still trying to deal with the fallout from the no porn rule starting to be enforced. The biggest problem is that they're horribly elitist and would rather talk about how much better they are than anyone else than actually discuss the show. A fair amount don't even watch the show actually (they just go there for porn). Lately the porn and 300+ post threads about sexual experiences with animals IRL have been shoved off to mlpchan though, which has made that site not great either (in fairness, it wasnt great before they got their either. Just dead.

 

 

Personally I like /sp/ because sports, though from what I've heard, /tg/, /diy/ and /ck/ are all very good as well. Depends on your specific areas of interest though

It depends. If I see something gross on the internet, it doesn't phase me. The only exception is 2girls1cup. Oh god why?  If I see something gross in real life, I'll either be grossed out or not bothered by it. Just depends on how disgusting it is.

It's not that I cannot handle it (I've seen a little bit of real gore like crushed heads and such on sites) but it boils down to WHY would I want to see this? I don't like to see real-life gore and violence. I get my rocks off watching horror movies and the gorier the better but I don't need to see real deaths and murders.

I do have a VERY easy gag-reflex when watching people swallow disgusting things, however. Seeing people eat that disgusting garbage on Fear Factor just ruins me.

I'm weird about it tho. I won't watch beheading videos-not because I can't handle it. but because being entertained by something like that kind of lends credibility to it-and I won't give those terrorist scum an ounce of that.

I can handle gross stuff very well, I wanted to become a doctor when I was young.. I was actually amazed how our body works, maybe very obsessed, so ehm.. So I do not find anything discusting like our insides, I could do a surgery without finding it disturbing. Still I didn't want to become a surgeon. I was going for a whole different type of doctors, not the surgeons. I have also often been around rotten whales, so even with that smell I wasn't puking or something. I have high tolerance for gross stuff, but I have a weakness. Eyes, I can not stand to see something like glass shards in your eyes or something. That's the only thing were I would probably just drop down on the floor and keep my eyes shut. I hate the thought of having something in your eyes.
