Lol, you all have these giant discussions and I have NO idea what they mean...

I just sit in the middle of a lane trying to get kills with Garen and Anivia, building them at random...

Everyone, if I were to find a shiny new top to main (since I don't have one down just about yet), who would you recommend?

 

And do the same with Support, since I think i'll expand my champ repertoire now that there's an IP boost weekend and school's out. :3

Personally, I'd recommend Riven, but, that's only because I love her to death and am kind of maining her at the moment. ^^"

Dr. Mundo and Olaf are also pretty nice top lanes, as can be Garen and Darius.

Pretty much any champion that can be tanky while still doing damage will work.

I'm not much into top laning myself, but I can help you out with support ^^. I personally main Lulu as my support, just because her kit is amazing useful. You can't go wrong with an 80% slow, a polymorph / AP&MS boost , a 6 second reveal nuke / Shield, and a massive HP boost that gives a 25% slow aura.

 

Soraka is also another Support that's amazing because you can never go wrong with helping your lane partner out with HP or mana.

 

Those are about the only supports that I've played, but I've had good results with both, and they can both be quite aggressive when needed (I once got a double kill off of Sejuani and Jax, and almost a triple, but Varus got away >.<)

You have no idea how hard that made me laugh... xD

I don't think they'll nerf his ult so much as they nerf how effective his passive is with his skills.

Nerf Zhao his ulti is up all the time cause of his W.

Supports try Sona Taric Soraka or Lulu good strong supports and they can change the outcome of the clash with their ulti.

Solo tops Riven Talon (Only use Talon if their solo top is somepony paper (Fiddle Morgana) otherwise you will die) Olaf and Morde are pretty decent (I would say Xin but i like him better as a jungler)

Why are they nerfing Ahri she is balanced already.

Garen should get his early game nerfed but late game buffed to make him more useful.

Ali is fine.

Ashe could use a little more base AD.

Also has anypony tried Draven in PBE?

I am absolutely terrible at LoL.

I tried to play with my friends and every game just sucked.

 

I can see the appeal for other's, but personally I'm not a fan of the RTS PVP thing.

Il play with you. Nopony is terrible at LoL you just need practice.

 

Also i just played Draven catching the axes is a whole new game. (Was a bot game just trying him out got swiftness boots cause catching the axes was hard.)

I dont know about that, I truly am terrible and I swear I tried a good bit.

I'd be willing to play but it probably wont be until later this year when im back from deployment.

Also @Ynomir: For a top lane you could also think about Teemo, Morde and Yorick. They're a lot more situational (except Yorick, Yorick wins his lane) but they all do their jobs very well. (Just remember Yorick doesn't have much for late game, so just ult the carry and built tank xD)

Seriously though, I'm considering trying Renekton when he's free. Or Nasus, but I think I have enough Q farming for ages with Veigar....

With some practice Renek can wreck. He invented the AtMogs build so that has got to count for something right?

 

Also, Mundo. Nasus gets countered too easily and Jarv makes a better jungler.
