How are Babies made in Equestria?

Just been wondering. Its seems that ponies don't have the bird and the bees otherwise we would have seen it and the show would have been cancelled because the ponies don't wear any cloth.

So how do Ponies make babies? I think that its like the Titans from Attack On Titan

Well that seems like a simple question to ask, since its not that hard to answer.

Since most of the show is based off human characteristics and some horse characteristics, it's only natural to think that babies come from a Stallion and a Mare loving eachother very very much while in bed. Then of course you wait like 11 months and then a baby is born!

Unless you have a different theory, this would be the simplest answer :3

 

EDIT: Also, they don't show things like that considering its a children's TV show. It's not like they're going to show every single detail in the episode, like how Fluttershy is actually an animal serial killer off screen.

Why, the answer's quite simple. All babies are inflatable. Grown ponies seem to be 80% rubber, anyway, so when they're very very young, they're all rubber. A mommy and daddy send for a baby, and then Derpy delivers the baby to the hospital, and then the loving parents go pick them up.

 

Of course, the Cakes got two babies because Derpy derped again. xD

Yeah they won't show it in the show for ahem obvious reasons but just because something isn't being shown dosen't mean it isn't happening. There are plenty of childrens cartoon with human main characters yet there is no assumption that they don't do they nasty simply because it is a childrens show.

Although Mrs Faust confirmed the ponies do the ol' bang-chitty-bang-bang, I like to believe that when grown ponies (horses- whatever-) become romantically involved, they send a letter to Princess Celestria stating/requesting blessing for a child where then she's like oky doky loky, puts a magical spell on the wife, and if her and her husband have true love for each other she becomes pregnant.

It's funny that you ask that. Because one of these days, Scootaloo came to Rainbow Dash and asked her how is it that foals are made. Of course Rainbow Dash was taking a nap and didn't look very happy.

 

 

Rainbow Dash told her that when ponies want to have foals, they go to Princess Celestia. She then goes to the local cemetery and retrieves the parts to make a new pony. Finally, she cuts the mare open to fit the foal inside and the reason why she screams during  delivery is because the doctors are cutting her open again to let the foal out.

 

 

Then Scootaloo stopped bothering the adults with this kind of question. Until the day Cherilee said Princess Cadance had come personally to teach them how foals are born. They are still looking for Scootaloo.

I think it's more that Celestia puts the spell on HERSELF, and then as Molestia pays the pony wife a little visit late at night.

Oh, and another thing. Does anyone else suspect that Mrs. Cake was sleeping around? Mr. Cake seemed desperate to believe the nonsense explanation on why their twins were a Unicorn and a Pegasus when they're both Earth ponies.

Of course the show geared towards little girls isn't going to talk about sex.  Good Lord!

 

I believe Baby Cakes made as clear as they can in these circumstances.  Pumpkin Cake and Pound Cake were born in a hospital because Cupcake had to be brought there for the delivery.  She had a dilatation.  A section of the "C" variety.  Had to unload a watermelon (two actually).  Had a tax deduction more painful than an audit.  She had tenants to evict.

 

They reproduce like normal horses.  Please never ask this again!

Well its basically just like humans, they're mammals, its been stated they produce as mammals do by Lauren herself.

 

Obviously in a kids show its not shown. 

 

Of course if you want a more realistic answer i think all their private parts are covered by their coat, it makes sense to me. Just been my logical headcannon.

 

But its basically been confirmed they reproduce like humans, which means they have the parts, it only makes sense seeing as they're so alike to humans in every other way.
